Here is my Ruger SP101 .357 with 3" barrel.
It is a no frills piece, but built extremely rugged.
It's a bit heavy for a small frame revolver at 27 ounces, but the weight actually helps when sending 100-150 rounds down range with .38's ....... .357 magnums are another story
I had the trigger pull lightened up.
I have played around with various grips, but I keep going back to the stock ones. They are smallish for my XL hand size, but very comfortable overall.
My defense rounds are Winchester .38 +P's
Holster is a Classic Old West which was made for a Ruger GP 100, but I had the leather tucked to hold the SP101

Nice holster, I'm always worried about non critical defense HP since most I have seen get clogged up from clothes pretty easily.
