After jobs speech dust-up, Obama changes date
President Barack Obama agrees to delay a planned jobs speech to a joint session of Congress by one day after the House speaker objects to the date the White House originally sought.
Boehner balked and told the president he ought to wait and speak a day later.

We conservatives are often accused of not finding or saying anything positive about President Obama, so here is something positive: I sincerely think this was a good call by the President, especially after his spokesperson's snotty comment about how the debate date should be changed. While I also give props to Speaker Boehner for showing backbone, I actually give the president more credit for not necessitating that this turn into a pissing match.
