It was no big secret that Democrats are socialists but thanks to Bernie Sanders they are no longer afraid to say it in public in this country. This means their anti-American revolution is taking hold. Yikes! The question is why would anybody be a socialist when socialism slowly starved 120 million human souls to death and when the instant China switched from socialism to capitalism it eliminated 40% of all the poverty on earth.

Well, this is ... interesting.

1. Do you have any sort of link to verify that "43% in Iowa identify themselves as socialist !"
2. The idea that "Democrats are socialists" is painfully wrong.
3. "Socialism" has never starved a single person in human history. Ideas don't starve people.
4. China switched from socialism to capitalism? When did that happen? (NOTE: Actually, China isn't and never was "socialist." Communism and socialism are not synonyms.)
5. 40% of all poverty on earth was eliminated by China's Big Switch? Link please?

Overall, I give your post an F-minus. See me after class.

Iowa is a swing state. But when it comes to its first-in-the-nation caucuses, its conservatives tend to be quite conservative, and its liberals tend to be quite liberal.

And even socialist.

As the country begins to decide how it feels about the idea of socialism — thanks to Bernie Sanders's ascendant Democratic primary campaign — it's worth noting here that it's a word that many Democratic caucus-goers have clearly embraced. And, in fact, many even call themselves "socialists."

A little-noticed data point in the new Selzer & Co. Iowa poll, in fact, shows that 43 percent of likely voters in the Feb. 1 caucuses say they would use the word "socialist" to describe themselves.

it's no surprise that so many Democrats would call themselves Socialist....and it's about time they are finally starting to be honest about it.

personally, i'm glad about it... for years I've been tired of watching illiberal leftists calling themselves liberals, so it's nice to see them telling the truth... finally.

well, 43% say they are socialists and so in theory they know they are. Bernie says he is a socialist. Obama voted to left of Sanders. Democrats voted for Obama. Democrats spied for Stalin and gave him the bomb. Need I go on??

Norman Thomas( socialist presidential; candidate) quotes:

The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of 'liberalism' they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.

Only our Founders and modern Republicans prevent liberals from subjecting us to communism.
Why did you think our liberals spied for Hitler and Stalin? Why did you think Obama loved Rev. Wright and Frank Marshall Davis( communist party no. 346778)?? Why did you think Bernie Sanders, an open communist, votes with the liberals?? Why do you think liberals support 10,000 interventions in the Republican capitalist free market?

This was precisely the tactic of “infiltration” advocated by Lenin and Stalin.[3] As Communist International General Secretary Georgi Dimitroff told the Seventh World Congress of the Comintern in 1935:
"Comrades, you remember the ancient tale of the capture of Troy. Troy was inaccessible to the armies attacking her, thanks to her impregnable walls. And the attacking army, after suffering many sacrifices, was unable to achieve victory until, with the aid of the famous Trojan horse, it managed to penetrate to the very heart of the enemy’s camp."[4]

C. S. Lewis on Diabolical Democracy, Socialism, and Public Education « Conservative Colloquium

Buckley endorsed Chambers’ analysis of modern liberalism as a watered-down version of Communist ideology. The New Deal, Chambers insists, is not liberal democratic but “revolutionary” in its nature and intentions, seeking “a basic change in the social and, above all, the power relationships within the nation.”

"I am for socialism, disarmament, and, ultimately, for abolishing the state itself... I seek the social ownership of property, the abolition of the propertied class, and the sole control of those who produce wealth. Communism is the goal."

And some dip**** blogger who refers to Bernie Sanders as an "open communist." You're really swinging for the fences and missing every pitch by three feet, Jimmy.

whoops my C just became a B. Shall we go on?

Socialism didn't slowly starve 120 million people to death in USSR/Red China?? Nazism didn't kill 60 million in WW2? Whether socialism and Nazism(National Socialism) or humans who practiced socialism and National socialism killed 180 million human souls is a distinction without a difference!! Sorry to rock your world.

No, you're still at an F-minus.

The bolded is just flat-out wrong, unless you want to make the claim that Stormfront is responsible for the Holocaust.

whoops my B just became an A

(1) when?? "Against conventional wisdom, we take the end of 1976 as the start of post-Mao reform and argue that China basically became a market economy by the end of the 90s before it joined the World Trade Organization in 2001"

(2)china never socialist??????

(3) not synonyms?? check above article to see them used interchangably and also note terms were mostly invented by Marx who saw socialism as a step toward communism without a clear distinction of the point at which the transition was considered complete.

5. 40% of all poverty on earth was eliminated by China's Big Switch? Link please?
Overall, I give your post an F-minus. See me after class.

whoops, my A just became an A+. Look it up if you dare to discover how they have brainwashed you.

No, you're still at an F-minus.

The bolded is just flat-out wrong, .

if its wrong why so afraid to day why its wrong?

whoops, my A just became an A+. Look it up if you dare to discover how they have brainwashed you.

So we have ...

1. A link that doesn't work
2. A blog post
3. Two wikipedia entries
4. An unsourced quote about China becoming a market economy (despite the fact that the Chinese economy is still very much centrally planned)

That's not even counting your slippery slope from OMG SOSHULIST to RED CHINA. And you lose even more points for your "brainwashed" line at the end there.

LOL. You failed, in the most epic manner possible.

if its wrong why so afraid to day why its wrong?

I already did, and you responded with word salad.

And some dip**** blogger who refers to Bernie Sanders as an "open communist." You're really swinging for the fences and missing every pitch by three feet, Jimmy.

you failed to say where exactly your disagreement is??

LOL. You failed, in the most epic manner possible.

why not give your best example of this failure?? Why so afraid to try?

Socialism can work. Capitalism can work. But they work best when mixed together.

It's no wonder why they are. They have been sucking off the tit of government subsidies for generations.

This ought to go well.

James doesn't disclose his lean, but I'm going with backward.

name calling or ad hominem attacks are banned on this site so far as I know?

Socialism can work. Capitalism can work. But they work best when mixed together.

so then please give us your best example of where mixing in socialism or Marxism helps???

It's no wonder why they are. They have been sucking off the tit of government subsidies for generations.

yes but now, even after Obama, Sanders wants to make the tit far bigger still proving that a liberal is a socialist is a communist since people always want more free stuff and liberals always want more votes.

name calling or ad hominem attacks are banned on this site so far as I know?

He'll probably get an infraction, and we'll never know because that's not public; however, I'd say it was worth it. It was a rather funny quip.

personally, i'm glad about it... for years I've been tired of watching illiberal leftists calling themselves liberals, so it's nice to see them telling the truth... finally.

Now if we could just get the republicans to finally admit they're fascist we can all go to the pub and get some beer!

so then please give us your best example of where mixing in socialism or Marxism helps???

Where mixing socialism and capitalism works? Or otherwise known as a "mixed economy"? The United States and most of Western nations. None of them are pure capitalist or pure socialist.

Your link doesn't work.

Well, Bernie isn't an open communist, he keep calling himself a Democratic Socialist.

However, it appears that he has a long history of supporting communism and Communist organizations, so draw what conclusions you will.
