I've been to 17 of them. Glad to see Ireland and Costa Rica up so high. Both places that would be good retirement choices for us.

Yep, it's about social services their societies invest for everyone, and a good quality of life. Which makes sense. I can see why we aren't on the list.

I am guessing you don't have a passport, nor have you traveled.

Sadly, a few of those countries were me being stuck at airports, Belgium and Switzerland. I loved Scandinavia, and I used to go to Prague several times a year, Czech Air always gave me free tix and I had good friends that lived there for a long while.

I'm finding it hard to swallow that people in Puerto Rico are happier than Canadians. I've been to Puerto Rico and I've been to the most horrible Indigenous village in Canada, and I'll take the frozen village over what I saw in Puerto Rico.
