Ok, well for the sake of argument, let's consider it.
First, where in the history of the modern world has a revolution even STARTED with affluent or middle class citizens in a less-than-dictatorial situation? Cry "Commie" all you want, we do not have anything even CLOSE to how bad it could be under a dictator.
Second, this drive shows a massive amount of short-sightedness on the part of the people who want to do this. It will destabilize our country even futher regardless of success or failure of any sort of armed struggle and open the door for serious foreign influence or a straight up invasion. There is a large segment of the population that does not and would not support an armed uprising including the population of the majority of the population centers across the country. Ask Ernesto Guevara how well it works trying to start a revolution in a country where a good chunk of the populace not only doesnt support you but many will actually actively oppose you.
Third, if (and I ****ing stress IF) this three ring circus actually GOES somewhere and they win, what then? We'll have decades more of civil war as different factions fight for control and we'll degenerate into a third-world country.
Fourth, who's going to lead this gallant band? The movement has no leader, no clear goals or objectives, no real ideology other than "Obama sucks", and no unifying principles. That's a crappy start for a revolutionary fighting force.
I've been studying revolutionary ideology and strategy for the better part of a decade and I wouldnt bet on this new "revolution" in the making if my life depended on it.
As long as they keep making Bud and Coors, the idiots wasting money on massive billboards are gonna do VERY little more than keep doing what they're already doing which is NOTHING.
