Yeah, I figured out who you were from the threads in the welcome section.

I had stopped visiting WS much because it seemed like every time I did almost every thread devolved into the same arguments between the same people. Just wasn't worth trying to have a real debate/discussion on anything.

I suppose that's inevitable with these types of sites. I do think that it was one of the better ones out there.

I'll probably lurk around here a bit to see how things go.


I'm pretty frustrated with where the country is right now. Obama is exactly what I thought he was - long on grandiose ideas and talk and no experience on how to actually govern and/or execute. There were plenty of warnings of this, that most people ignored.

How are things with you?

I'm not sure what happened with WS. I was on another long hiatus and Randy actually told me the site was no longer around. I guess it was down for a month or something like that? I would say I miss it, but I don't really. I *DO* miss quite a few of the people. Mostly a good lot they were.
