Disturbing photo of President Obama

This photo was taken right after the terrorist attack in Boston.

It shows President Obama leaning back in his chair, legs crossed not looking to concerned while talking to who knows who, his brew master in the basement ? Maybe Eric Holder asking if he can blame it on G.W. Bush, Sarah Palin, the Tea Party or violence in the work place ?

But what is disturbing is Obama's desk. Doesn't Obama do any thing as POTUS ? I've never seen such a clean desk. Not even a pencil and a pad of paper to doodle on.

Ok firstly the big question, how do you know when that photo was taken whats your source? Secondly, its cute that you want to pre-emptive accuse the President or someone else of trying to blame a bombing on the tea party or any other groups you're a fan boy of, but its ridiculously stupid. The President hasn't done that. Thirdly, what was your opinion on using tragedy for political reasons again? Lastly, have you never in your whole life seen someone lean back in a chair when hearing hard news? I can't really believe that.

I can see you reaching for something, anything, to criticize the President about, but there's nothing here man.

See, i find threads like this particularly disturbing. You have your priorities so wrong here, it's not even been 12 hours since the bombs went off. You should be focussing your energy on thoughts and prayers for all the people who have been affected by this tragedy and this should be something that brings everyone closer together, no matter what Political side of the fence you sit on. It has affected everyone.

Isn't that just one of the things that makes your Country so great? How you have been able to come together when ****ty things happen? At least that's what i as an Australian have always thought.

I just cannot understand that some wouldn't believe that your President and the authorities will be doing everything in their power to get to the bottom of this unspeakable act.

I knew there would be some who would start posting "cherry pickin" photos of Reagan and Bush.

But the photo I posted was legit. Right after the White House released this photo yesterday afternoon, I heard a number of individuals mostly on radio commenting on how Obama didn't look to concerned leaning back and legs crossed right after the bombing in Boston.

When I finally saw the photo after it was posted on the Politico I noticed the clean desk, not even a pencil or pen in sight. I can picture a clean desk at the beginning of the day or at the end of the day when there was no more matters to deal with. I did look closely for Obama's teleprompter.

It was just probably another Obama photo op.

Has anyone noticed that after Obama got reelected there haven't been any more photo ops with the troops ? That's all they ever were.

I remember this time I was taking some hard news and I leaned back and put my hands on my head. I've never had a "real job" in the private sector either, my only job has been with the military, so maybe I don't know what real work is either. Are you some kind of psychic or something? Do you read palms in your spare time? I can't imagine anyone else but one of those quacks seriously claiming they can tell so much from a single photo of the way someone is sitting. You know why am I arguing this I can't think of a time I've discussed a dumber topic on these forums. His posture? For God sake is that all you have?

You know the handling of this thing has barely gotten off the ground and you've already found a thing to criticize the President for, the way he is sitting of all stupid things. What's bad is that this will probably all you'll have since the the investigation and subsequent actions aren't going to be personally handled by the President and will most likely be given to a team of police officers in Boston and some agents in the FBI, so I guess you've got to get your shots in now as desperate and stupid as they are.

I could name dozens of complaints about Obama as President, but White House photos are notoriously staged so it wouldn't surprise me if the photog or some assistant suggested clearing the desk.

They also probably suggested moving the golf clubs and the miniputt green out of the shot too.

Your mind-reading ability is pretty bad. Unless you can confirm what Obama was thinking at the moment the picture was taken, your opinion is nothing but partisan hackery.

I would also say your "body language" reading ability is pretty pathetic. As someone who depends on their ability to read body language as a daily part of their job, looking at Obama in that picture... you have no clue as to what you are talking about.
