The tool of shaming and fake outrage is nothing new in American politics but its use by the present administration, especially in the Martin/Zimmerman case, have taken America to a new low. Running out of true racism cases, the Obama administration had to find a fake race outrage to divert the attention off its scandals, similar to what Islamists do when they call their opponents 'apostate.' Desperate to change the subject, by an administration engulfed in scandal, they decided to take anything even the poorest case that resembles racism.

This is the same outrage that Obama created over 'the video' in the Benghazi scandal. As in many Muslim cultures, Obama has perfected the technique of shaming to claim moral superiority. Eric Holder, who describes America as a "nation of cowards," won't quit his outrage over the Martin/Zimmerman case.

The Left is determined to rub America's nose periodically to the ground to keep leverage over their opposition and continue the profitable business of race politics. It is embarrassing to see the Left using every shaming tool to preserve their sacred cow accusations of racism for the sake of winning elections. It does not matter to race baiters that the American people will become enslaved by the tyranny of shaming and will never move beyond the guilt over slavery, which was a worldwide phenomenon not only between black and white but more often within the same race.

Certainly this fits the pattern of this Post Racial Administration under Obama. They've failed in fixing the economy Afro-American unemployment is double that of the national average and there's unrest in the Black communities throughout the nation. Never let a crisis go to waste. Give the Afro-American community a straw dog to demonstrate over.

now you're talking to yourself ...

DUDE, seriously...why is this case so important to you? It's like every time I turn around you are posting another Zimmerman thread. Do you think that posting all this in here is going to have ANY effect at all on what people are doing out there in the real world?

It's clear how you feel about it. I don't even have a problem with that. But it's just a case, trials over, one among thousands and thousands of others being ignored.

It's. Just. Not. That. Important. Other threads are here...participate!
It's the "White Guilt" we've heard so much about manifesting itself again. Werwolfen is trying to convince himself of something under the pretext of helping us all.

I do think virtually all the outrage over the GZ/TM matter is artificial and utilitarian. Maybe 1% have any clue what the case was other than the bits and pieces of details - more false than true - by the press and media which told a story - a false one - and has stuck to it thru this day.

This is the story they continue to tell: A young African-American child was walking home from a candy store. A huge white guy got out of a truck, ran that boy down as the boy desperately attempted to flee - and when finally cornered that young boy did try to put of a fight and got in a few defensive blows, but that racist white man shot the black boy point-blank execution style.

And why did the big old white racist take out after the young black boy? Because he was a black boy wearing a hoodie - so the racist decided he had to kill him because the white racist wants to be a cop and believes blacks should be killed.

And they continue to tell that exact story - presenting it as absolute unquestioned factual news reporting.

(SIGH) I guess I really shouldn't have posted that. My bad. I deleted it but you already quoted me. :( It's just that this case is getting so much hype, all out of proportion to the actual situation that I find it harder and harder to understand.

To me, special interests on both sides have pushed this, and the media has overblown it...all to stir up unnecessary controversy for what? Ratings? As a tool to undermine gun rights? Perhaps to keep the race divide simmering in hopes of more violence for who knows what reason? It's just not worth it.

You don't rub noses to the ground, you rub noses on the ground!

Get your idioms straight!

Did you know the author was born in Egypt? She might not have perfect control over idiomatic nuances but she's seems to have a pretty damn good grasp on the English language.

Also the usual usage of the idiom is "rub someone's nose in it" or "in the dirt". In. Not on.
