NAACP Is Racist

Eh, I'm not a fan of the NAACP myself because I feel like they spend more time trying working on superficial issues than on substantive issues that actually help "the advancement" of black people in this country. My problem is with people calling it "racist" just because it's main focus is black Americans. There are plenty of valid criticisms of the NAACP, but criticizing it for being "racist" is not one of them.

I call them racist, but not because their focus is Black Americans, but rather, the way the speak about and treat everyone else and, like in the Zimmerman case, they think there was a severe wrong because Martin was black and Zimmerman wasn't.

That's not coming from a place of racism - they don't believe that black people are superior to white people. That's coming from a place of frustration - of feeling that Martin - like their sons, nephews, brothers and so on - are screwed from the start of their life.

Dude..... if anything minorities have a distinct advantage when it comes to LAWs and POLICY written SPECIFICALLY to benefit them.
Not to mention when Police Departments go out and have job fairs SPECIFICALLY looking for.. as they call it.... "African Americans" (I personally find that term disparaging..... as if they are less American or Immigrants or something).

The NAACP had a legitimate purpose.

Today, its purpose is to keep driving a wedge between whites and blacks to keep itself relevant.

That is all.

There are Affimative Action policies in MANY major Universities... sounds like an advantage in education to me. As for public education..... last I checked we didn't have segregation in school.... those same poorly funded schools people bitch about being in the inner city and having a high population of black folks also have poor white kids in them in as well. So don't go acting like its about the race of the students.

All the NAACP ever does IS blame whitey. Right now they are trying to lynch Zimmerman, who they keep calling a white man, through the justice system for doing nothing more than defending himself.

It appears to me, and I could be wrong, that there is plenty of the "white guilt," commodity yet to be exploited.

I took issue with the city last week because they mentioned "fire cracker," in their 4th of July advertisement.

I'm certain there's subliminal racism in that verbage somewhere. LOL!
