What lessons are learned in the Zimmerman case?

Nope. And I dont know if it would it make any difference. The states case was weak.

It makes a difference because a grand jurry wouldn't have brought this case to begin with.

Speaking of that. I live in a fairly wealthy white neighborhood. To be quite honest with you I dont even lock my doors at home. but if I was walking around the neighborhood to the conviecne mart and some goof ball stopped me and asked me what I was doing, the way I would respond would be directly related to how polite he was.

could he be impolite enough for you to punch him in the face?

Well a combination of common sense on Trayvons part with some respect for an elder who was just asking you a question. I actually dont even know if it got to that point.
Trayvon should have just gone home and told his father whats up.
On top of the fact that had Zim not been armed, Trayvon would be in jail right now for battery.

Nope, probably not. But then again, we dont really know what happened.

Being impolite is not an invitaton to wail on someone.

my point exactly. until/unless someone perpetrates violence against you or attempts violence against you (or against another)....you have no business getting physical.
