Day 11 testimony (Tuesday7/9)

Judge Nelson is not a happy camper. Defense needs a fire lit under them, GET READY and let her bring in the jury.

In my opinion, the jury deserves to have all of these motions and **** argued outside of their time in the courtroom. If the players need to stay until Midnight to get this **** over with, then that's what should happen. The jury's lives are being interrupted big time. Time for the other players lives to be interrupted big time as well. It's been over an hour-and-a-half since the jury expected to be in the courtroom. That's unacceptable.

I missed it.............is she letting in the animation?

LOL She scheduled the "remainder" of the hearing AFTER court today. As MaggieD said and I agree, don't make the jury wait while you do all this minutia. Do it AFTER the jury has been excused. I actually admire Judge Nelson for her concern of the jury's time.

The defense wants to use a computer animation of the facts of the case and do what I assume would be a "walk through" for the jury.

The prosecution is fighting it.

I'm not sure it's needed, really.

Someone tell me why I just don't like Defense Attorney West??

"Hello Mr. Oceandan. Looks like you're in deep ****. We have two lawyers you can choose from: Bernie or West. You choose."

Anyone see the look on Bernie's face? He looks like he's having a pepto bismal moment.

West boring the hell out of everyone again...

I think it's kinda funny that the witness is bragging on how many dead bodies he has sliced and diced. LOL!

I hope I can stay awake through this.

Soot! One of Dr. Bao's favorite words! s-o-o-t

Whoa...this dude was on the Bloody Sunday case.

Dunno Spanky. According to Tony Pipitone tweeting from court, the jury is very engaged and interested in this specific testimony.

Apparently they started zoning out a bit yesterday during the voice ID witnesses.

That notes comment was a dig at Dr. Bao and letting the jury know how superior their expert is to the state's.

He doesn't smile at all.
What you see, is what you get.

The expert just told the jury how to evaluate this case. Compare Zimmerman statements to the evidence on scene. I would assume, as he was called by defense, he will say it is a match.

Why is this important? I don't see the state objecting to the firing range being 2-4"?

Once he ties it all together, you'll figure it out.

Wake me up when he does so.

I still don't get it, has any of this been previously refuted by the state?

Yes, the state is saying that GZ was on top of TM.

Sorry for the divergence from the facts of the case but I have to insert this.

1.) I still say West appears as if he has a constant need for a bowel movement.

2.) I helped out at a local EMS/PD prepare for disaster event. To open the event we were treated to a free meal. It was put on by the......CORONER's office. Guess what they he served.
Steak. <grin>

Well, they had a couple witnesses who said that's what they thought but neither seemed credible on that point. W6 was closest, 17 feet or so and he positively put TM on top of Z.

Way too long on this testimony. I get so tired of boys playing games.

Establish his credibility: 5 minutes
Testify: 10 minutes

On to the next. Jesus.

(If he's not an expert witness, he shouldn't be testifying. The court should 'certify' him an expert without wasting the jury's time. When he comes to the stand, he's already certified. Brief credentials could be even LESS than 5 minutes.)

Stop wasting the jury's time!!
