Call for Riots/Murder if Zimmerman found Not Guilty

Do I actually believe 99% of those people WILL murder people over this? No. It only takes a few to get a mob started, though.

Who cares what race they are?
 
I wouldn't be surprised if they riot... and if they happen to be so stupid, they should be shot down in the streets like animals.
 
If violence does break out, I blame the national news media for riding on the coat tails of Al Sharpton and pumping the race angle, not taking the time to get the facts, and basically convicting Zimmerman from day one... If they would have done their job and covered this thing responsibly, half of America wouldn't think Zimmerman is some racist who killed a black kid in cold blood, and would understand that the reason he will likely be found not guilty, is because he didn't break any laws... Not because Florida didn't care about Trayvon's death because he was black.

Whites are use to deferring to black rioters but the Asians and Latinos won't. I doubt the Muslims will either. We saw that with the armed Asians in the LA Riots. The blacks are in for a shock. People are arming themselves cause they can't depend on the Government to protect them.

That's just what we need....a race riot over the case and then some black kid in a hoodie gets offed by a white guy with an AR defending his house or business.:roll:

Marc Lamont Hill said on the BET special the Friday night before the trial began, that he believes there will be violence if things don't go "the way we (folks in the black community) think it should"... So if violence breaks out, don't think it will be some spontaneous thing... It's been planned for a long time.

personally, I don't think riots would break out. I don't think that many people are paying attention. There may be some protests ... still a long way to go ...
 
I have said it before, but I simply do not understand the depth of emotional investment in this case. The bare facts, as we know them, concern a teenager being shot dead by a 28 year old neighbourhood watch representative. As they should in any civilised jurisdiction, the circumstances surrounding this act are being tried in a court of law. Whether the accused is found guilty, or otherwise, will be dependent upon the evidence submitted, and there is nothing untoward about that evidence being tested by the independent judicial system.

That anyone should suggest civil disobedience in the event of the court's ruling not meeting their expectations, indicates a society no longer governed by the rule of law. The proposition that the accused should not be exonerated if the evidence indicates a lack of culpability, is as ludicrous as the proposition that his actions should not have been examined by a court of law.

good post ... so far a toss up ... we're going to have to trust the jurors to do the right thing ... I think they will ...
 
i truely want to believe that justice is in fact blind.

But if Zimmerman is acquitted there might be some out there who would consider this result a repeat of what happened at the trial of the killer of Emmet Till.
 
This is why juries get sequestered in high profile cases--to keep this non-sense rumor mill from contaminating their decisions. Riots? LOL. I doubt it.

Thank you - it is mature and sensible attitudes, such as you display, which must prevail if yours is to continue being a civilised society. The concepts of rioting because a court of law finds against your expectations, or that of not examining the shooting death of an unarmed teenager, are incomprehensible to me.

thank you, but it really is hard to predict what will happen if he is exonerated ... all it takes is a few hotheads ...
