Experts say self-defense claim could be tough to refute in Trayvon Martin [W:177]

I was under the impression Z was out of his truck following T when I said that. I dont know, it seems we have a resident expert so I will go with what he says, fortuantely, Z will have to stand trial and these little discussions mean nothing anyway.

Even assuming your claim is true - which it's really not... at least not from the time he hung up with NEN... but someone can wander around... stop wandering around.. then head back to their truck. Just because he was "wandering around" does not exclude him from eventually returning to his vehicle and haveing Trayvon engage him.

It was a request by a dispatcher, not a command or order from an officer. He was within his rights to follow.

She won't provide a link. But I would say what she typed in was fairly close to what was said.

Zimm didn't want to confront Trayvon. Zimm was not afraid that Trayvon had a weapon, even though he had put his hand in his waistband.

They only have to refute Zimmerman's claims. The burden is on Zimmerman, not the state, in an affirmative defense to prove he acted in self-defense. If I were on the jury, he would have a very tough time making me believe he was not the aggressor since he clearly had time to make the telephone call to the police before the shooting.

Why? You think someone is gonna be like "oooh, neighborhood watch! I better just let this victim go!" What violent criminal gives a crap if someone claims to be NW?

George could have returned to his truck in 30 seconds.. He was nowhere near his truck. He was 47 feet south on the dogwalk.

What "violent criminal" are you speaking of?
 
We will all have to wait for the jury.

As to predicting the jury, ask any lawyer.
Juries are notoriously unpredictable.

George tells the NEN dispatch that TM has his hands at his waist.. to make Trayvon appear more sinister....... George lies like a six year old.

I know someone nicknamed "Baby Face" who has the dubious distinction of killing more FBI agents than anyone in history.

There is NO evidence that Trayvon attacked George... and George's injuries are minor.

George had time enough to say.. "This is a mistake.. I am with NW and I didn't recognize you as a resident"...

George was on a mission.. mindless. There is no excuse for him killing Trayvon.

If O'Mara has evidence of Trayvon fighting in and refereeing organized fights, his "baby face" will be lost to all.

George was on a mission.. mindless. There is no excuse for him killing Trayvon.

No one can know the operations of another's mind. Had he been on a "mindless mission," he wouldn't have even called the PD.

It was less than 2 minutes between when he hung up and when the encoutner occured...

And Trayvon could have been home even before George had hung up with NEN. He was nowhere near his home. He was well less than 47 feet south on the dogwalk.

Finally, as the lead investigator has already stated under oath... they have no evidece that Trayvon was not returning to his truck at the time of the encounter.

That's so disconnected. How can I argue against it? When someone refuses well documented physical evidence and substitutes fantasy, where is there to go?

Or maybe.. and this is the most likely... Trayvon really did have his hands in his waistband. I realize you hate George, his family, and his lawyers.. but not everything stated is a lie. Items contained in the NEN call are most likely to be true.
