Zimmerman attorneys to seek delay in trial

The text messages are separate from a sealed confession.
And no sealed confession exists.

As previously shown, the Prosecution wanted Zimmerman's statements sealed, but Judge Lester ordered his statements to be released as they were not confessions.
So stop telling untruths.

And again sharon, it was already shown that there is no sealed confession.

So why do you keep telling untruths?

Yes, it has definitely become clear that you are not here to discuss/debate the case/evidence.

It’s evidence that the defense and prosecution fought to have protected from the public eyes.

Some of the most impactful information includes Zimmerman’s statements to police, jailhouse phone calls and names of some witnesses.

“He determined they aren’t confessions. What they are statements of Mr. Zimmerman and they do not admit that he committed a crime. He did admit he shot Mr. Martin and that he is responsible for the death so those will be released,” said David Fussell, a legal analyst.

My opinion has nothing to do with the constipated speed of the justice system. In my opinion the Boston Bomber should be in trial by June....this year!

What if medical doctors, whose pay rank equals lawyers, moved at their speed? If they did an exploratory surgery and found cancer decided to just sew you up and come back later this summer to take another look at it as they wanted to think about it for another 6 months.

As for innocent before guilty theme am certain you were one of those screaming that OJ was innocent the whole time.

The Judge denied the Prosecution's motion.

There is absolutely no evidence that there is a sealed confession out there.

While searching I noticed that this was being bandied about at PF as if it was true.
They supplied the following as proof as such even though it isn't.

Why isn't it proof of such?
Because Judge Lester refused to seal Zimmerman's statements, but instead ordered them to be released.
Why did Lester do such? Because Zimmerman's statements were not confessions.

Prosecutors argued that Zimmerman's statements to law enforcement should remain sealed, under an exemption in Florida's public records law that bars the release of confessions. Zimmerman admits to shooting the Miami Gardens teen but says he did so in self-defense.

After reviewing Zimmerman's statements, Lester concluded that they are not confessions.

Zimmerman "does not acknowledge guilt of the essential elements of the crime. The only element conceded by the defendant is that he shot and killed the victim, but he does not concede any other elements of second-degree murder."

Lester ordered the statements released within 15 days.​

Don't you all get it? Some people want to be "wrong". It's the way they get negative attention. We could just as easily be debating 'how red is red' with some people. In fact those types of 'circular' arguments are the best ones to keep people who crave negative attention happy. If no one posted back to these people for say a whole day they'd be putting up posts like:"Zimmerman's secret cache of assault rifles found!"
Then some poor sap would be drawn into a hundred posts demanding where this story came from and all they'd ever get is: "Go read the evidence dump for yourself". And the 'negative attention addict' would have their daily fix.
Time for people to 'wise up' and save band width.
