Zimmerman is begging for money again.

It seems zimmerman wants all of us to float the bill for his lawyer and security. Interestingly enough the conservatives who think it is horrible to give a person 200 dollars a month for food because they did not earn it also feel giving zimmerman 300 thousand dollars for his legal defense that he did not earn is not enough.

Well, i already gave to the zimmerman defense fund. I pay taxes, and one of the things that those taxes go for is the guaranteed legal representation for all people. Who the hell does this guy think he is? he is not OJ. It is public defender time for the boy if he cannot afford a high priced lawyer. I am sure that public defenders provide adequate legal representation, and this is what people are entitled to. Why the hell does this guy get to make 300 thousand for shooting someone? Also, we provide food, housing, security, and medical care for people awaiting trial. if he cannot afford his security team why should we pay for it? We pay taxes which would provide huim a nice room in a local prison where he can await trial in solitude away from any person who would want to harm him.

We have already given this man everything he is begging for, and now he thinks he is entitled to the best lawyers and the best security money can buy. Well tough **** on him because we already bought him a lawyer. if he wants more than he should have earned more damned money. this is not socialism or communism, if you cannot pay for it you get what you can afford. To answer your last question, I think he's entitled to exactly the defense he can afford -- and more. And if that means asking for donations? So be it.

Just pick between a public or private legal defense fund to raise money for a better defense attempt or the state will have to pick up the costs of litigation

and more importantly, you have gave to the prosecution team by paying taxes. The State has basically an unlimted fund to use to prosecute Zimmerman.

Your question of is he entitled to a defense and security he cannot afford is like asking are you entitled to health care you cannot afford. Zimmerman is entitled to a fair trail and a defense that is compentant.

While I search, seems there is no report out on what the State has spent to date on this case. As there is no report on what the estimate is on what the State will spend in total. So, got to ask, is it worth the cost to the taxpayers to drag this case out and spend all the dollars that State ultimately will?

The court took away much of his defense fund via the bond and imposed rules essentially prohibiting his obtaining employment.

How many millions has the government spent to prosecute him?

The Public Defender's office in Seminole County is SO small they do not even list it as a Department or even in the greater directory.

The bottom line is if you don't want to give him money (or more money), don't. Why did you give him any money (if you did and I SERIOUSLY doubt it) for "shooting black kids" as you put it - ie your furious rage baiting the subject?

Please explain your basis for declaring: "I am sure that public defenders provide adequate legal representation?" In fact, why do you assert there is more than one? Nor did he "make" $300,000.

For you to be honest, your OP should just say "I HATE GEORGE ZIMMERMAN" and leave it at that.

And I am certain you gave nothing to his defense fund, which you declare is defending "shooting black kids"... OR did you used to support shooting black kids and changed your mind?

And since you don't contribute a dollar to this forum, I also do not believe you ever contributed anything as you claim - and then race baitingly attack and smear Zimmerman as your OP and this thread you started.

Why are they going through the motion to have a trial ? Zimmerman going to walk away a free man anyway. Tray's judge was Zimmerman,the good people of Florida will reward him with his freedom.:confused:: :mrgreen:

Hear you,but just don't live in that world.The legal system is one that doesn't work on the be half of the a Tray Martin's. That come from 63 yrs. of common sense evaluating that system! I guess i'm on the side looking in, not looking out at that " fair system " in those court rooms.You have to walk in those shoes to understand them.

Statistically speaking you would be wrong regardless of your perceptions.
Not that he will be, but statistically speaking, it is most likely Zimmerman will be convicted.

Zimmerman killed the surrogate son of the President and the media declared him guilty, for which the federal, state and local government all have devoted themselves to convicting Zimmerman at any expense. So did the first couple of judges.

And, as you see, people on this forum raging about him even having any ability to put up a defense. I doubt the government, media and then all their sheeple have dumped on anyone as much in my lifetime that I can remember.

Do you not see the difference between forced charity and charity? If he asks for money and gets it, why does that bother you and why doesn't it bother you that we have so many people that are remorseless leeches on our society?
