O'Mara: We've spent $300,000 on George Zimmerman and are desperate for more donations

Re: O'Mararman and are desperate for more donations

Justify?

Justify?

Justify?

Justify?

:lamo:lamo:lamo:lamo:lamo

Yes, they justify his abuse of the funds.

I really don't have too much personally invested in this issue, so it's nothing I'm going to argue over. But the info is there, people can read it and make up their own mind

Re: O'Mararman and are desperate for more donations

Zimmerman has spent more than $125,000 of the public's donated money on personal expenses. In addition to the $61,000 published yesterday, he spent more than $64,000 before O'Mara supposedly found out about the money, INCLUDING this $36,000 in 18 days before he ever got out of jail the FIRST time.

This is just what they're admitting to. Remember, the accountant that O'Mara brought to the stand at the second bond hearing didn't include the expenditure of ONE DIME of the $49,000 CASH swapped around between Shelie and the sister. That money has never been accounted for.

Now they're saying in addition to the $95,000 fee to the present bondsman being paid out of these funds, $56,000 has been spent on body guards and security for this outfit!

I am sure it was all...justified:lamo

Where did the arrogant, smirking celebrity of last summer go? I will always remember his lisping "thank you to the masses" video.

Man, some of you guys are way too emotionally invested in this case

George Zimmerman spends all day thinking about the second-degree murder case against him and has gained 105 pounds, the attorney said.

Pretty sure George Zimmerman does more than "thinking"...like MURDERING these donut burgers:lamo:lamo:lamo:lamo:lamo

Re: O'Mara: We've spent $300,000 on George Zimmerman and are desperate for more donat

It's absolutely disgusting that, due to politics and media malfeasance, an individuals financial liability for defending himself in court has reached this level.....and done so even before the criminal trial has begun.

Guilty or not, Zimmerman is going to be in a whole world of financial trouble on top of everything else. This is punishment for something that has not yet even been adjudicated as a crime.

Honestly, i don't believe Zs version of events.

But I'm feeling more and more that he's about been punished enough.

I always felt a formal.sanction and the minimal punishment for negligent manslaughter was all he has coming.

He's prolly gonna get hammered in a wrongful death suit when this is all over too. Not that he'll ever be able to pay.

If he's found not guilty, Trayvon's family can't file a wrongful death suit against Zimmerman. That's part of the SYG law in Florida.

I think that only applies if he wins the SYG hearing.

Casey Anthony’s defense team billed the state of Florida over $147,000 to defend the woman acquitted of murdering her daughter, Caylee.

George Zimmerman....eight months...$300,000+...no problem:lamo:lamo:lamo:lamo:lamo

Re: O'Mara: We've spent $300,000 on George Zimmerman and are desperate for more donat

You could be right...
In this case. If it makes it to a trial and Zimmerman wins, it would likely be an example of what would happen at a Civil hearing too.
A jury finding his actions were justifiable.
Which would be far different than what happened with OJ.

I thought OMara was supposed to be a good lawyer.

Your point as it is in reply to what you quoted?

Indeed, don't want you guys complaining when Zimmerman is found guilty how he was unable to get the best defense possible:lol:

Hell, I would rather the State pay for his defense for stupidly allowing the charges to go forward in the first place.

So I hope he does claim indigent status.

Either way, I want him to have the best defense possible in his situation.

NO EXCUSES!

I did, thanks. He got a lot of money very quickly, but will have to wait and see if it continues.

Contrary to slogans, our criminal justice system presumes - and punishes - as guilty unless a person is subsequently found not guilty - and then the punishment stops. There is no "innocent until proven guilty." In reality, it is "guilty unless and until proven innocent."
