Chris Serino: Road to Redemption

Re: SPD Investigator Chris Serino has retained attorney Jose Baez for deposition!!!!!

Sharon posted an article on this. Apparently when Baez provided the information on the drafts to the prosecutor, he told them that it would be beneficial to Zimm. As I stated when she first posted that, I have no idea why it would be beneficial, but I suspect he would know more then I on the subject. Any speculation why he thought that?

would he think it beneficial to zimmerman only because it showed that the investigator was unable conclude that a murder two conviction was unsupported by the facts he had by then gleaned?

will be interesting to watch how this plays out

Sorry, you can't stop it by wishing otherwise.
:doh
You are the only one here doing the wishing.

And I know you think you understand. But you simply do not.
Your words make that evidently clear.

BTW.

Basically the article is stating that Serino was told to write up charging documents so that it could get kicked up. The attorney (Baez) that handed the drafts over stated it would help Zimm. I am not certain why, but I suspec the would know more then I.

O'Connor told the Sentinel in July, "Basically, the implied order was, 'Get it out the door'… We wrote up what we had, the context of what we had … with the understanding that there was still insufficient evidence for the State Attorney to charge."

On Tuesday, de la Rionda handed the much-revised Serino report to defense attorneys, saying he had received it recently from Serino's attorney, Jose Baez, who advised them that it would likely help Zimmerman.
