Zimmerman's Defense Team Wants TM School Records!!!

A sixteen year old who makes good grades sleeping in class or experimenting with pot is not a killing offense.

Making poor grades in college isn't a violent assault offense.

It helps by raising doubts as to what happened and why - the same as the prosecutor believes exploring GZ prior to the incident shows what actually happened.

If the defense had the money like the prosecutor - which it doesn't of course particularly with $100,000 taken away - the defense would interview anyone who ever saw or knew TM to find anyone who says they had an conflict with TM or any negative comments about him. Anyone ever afraid of him, that he ever said anything threatening to and of course any fight he may have ever been in.

I have already said three times to release Trayvon's records.... WHAT is wrong with you?

I also find it amusing with people explain using drugs as "experimenting." It is never about experimenting. It is about seeking pleasure.

Not necessarily, and some of us do see pot as being a big deal.

I was quoting and referring to justabubba's post which stated if TM had good grades etc. How does that help the defense? I already said the only thing that can help them, would be to find some incidents involving violence. What would good grades show? That is what I was referring to.

and once again the thread gets off track. The topic is GZ defense wants TM's school records released. The topic is not about GZ past or GZ's school records.

That said. If it is ok for GZ education records, police records, personal character, etc. to be made public and used in the trial, then the same goes for TM's records, personal character, etc. All sides need to be looked at.

I don't think anyone on the thread has said "don't release" Trayvon's records.. .. so isn't that pretty much covered?
 
This thing is still going on??? When does the trial start/end? Cripes, it's like the OJ trial.

I would think the only certainty is that the cousin would jump up quickly and say he made it up. I would expect he would want it publically known that T never attacked anyone.

You know there is another black teen named Trayvon Martin who I think, if remember correctly, is a year older and lives in another part of Florida. He is also on FB.. He is the image of the kid playing gangster.

The kid with the gold grill is not Trayvon.

Look it up.


The other Trayon is from GA.

Oh I have no idea about "the cousin".. but I am sure both the prosecution and defense have looked into it and done some research on the Trayvon who lives in Savannah.

I was just laughing about people - most notably politicians - trying to divert to the word "experimenting" concerning illegal drugs, and then there is Obama's excuse of using drugs in his earlier years because he was confused about his racial identity.

There is relevancy to pot. It shows that TM would break laws and rules for his own desires. It also allows speculation as to what he was doing outside in a new community wandering about in the rain. If he was looking for pot or hoping to sell it (he ran away so could have hide it), it gave him reason to NOT want anyone watching him and reason to be furious that GZ was continuing to do so even when TM quickly tried to relocate himself out of sight.

Despite all the other CRAP, this case comes down to who initiated the physical violence or alternatively threatened it. That really is the only relevant question. If it was a tragedy of errors and mis-speculations by both, then it is just a tragedy, not a crime.

The prosecution's case is based upon hoping to convince jurors what was in GZ's head. Equally, the question then is also what was in TM's head. Since that is unknown, that is the reason the entirety of the Sanford PD and the then DA said there is no case.

Since the prosecution is trying to construct a case by trying to get jurors to each be mindreaders of thoughts of people, the defense is doing the same - both using character assasination to do so - as do you. (and then I.)

Vascilate between certainty and non. Anyway, I am sure they have. Do you know what conclusion they have reached? Please provide a link, as I haven't seen anything.
