George Zimmerman's new new judge: Debra S. Nelson

Won't they burn down Florida if Zim is found not guilty?

If it is after the election, the politicians won't care either way.

I was George Zimmerman

I was George Zimmerman in geography, race, age, and circumstance. I had a loaded gun. I’d called the police numerous times over the weeks leading up to that day. I was George Zimmerman in every way but one... I was looking to keep my family safe, not harass a black child. I didn’t chase him. I didn’t engage him. I didn’t carry a gun into my neighborhood where any accident could’ve sent stray bullets through the windows of my neighbors. I didn’t want that teenager dead. To be in that same set of circumstances and end up with an unarmed boy hunched over in a pool of his own blood you need to have left your house looking for it. You’d have had to think about shooting him to get your gun out and load it. If it was a spur of the moment thing, and you weren’t leaving your house to kill someone, you would’ve walked out unarmed. Zimmerman knew he was going to confront that child and he knew it might end by pumping a bullet into him.

I’ve been listening to conservative broadcasters try to paint Zimmerman as everything from an innocent victim to a hero. I’ve been in the same place as him and I’ll tell you, without qualification, he is only one thing... a monster. He is a racist child-killing monster that hunted his prey under cover of darkness. I was relieved to see that he’s being investigated by the feds and I’m even more glad that Trayvon Martin’s brave parents found the courage to not back down. They’re heroes for not fearing reprisals from the police or good old boys who play golf with the mayor. They stood up for their son against incredible social pressure and they deserve to see this disgusting excuse for a man stand trial for taking their son from them.

I experienced the same course of events as George Zimmerman, but in the end I was never him. I have respect for my fellow man and the sanctity of human life. Because of this I’ll never be George Zimmerman. I’ll never be a murderer.

There is a whole lot of crap in that post that we know is not true. You know the reason? Because, again, you are posting links to blogs and opinion pieces that were written well before most of the facts were known and the media was turning this into a race riot. I wonder if the author has changed his mind on the subject (like the prior blog you posted who was originally agsint Z but changed his mind as more evidence cae out) now that more facts are out. He may not have... But then again.. Many people have, so there is a good possiblity that he did. Do you know his current position?

Is it about race?

This writer said that there were no black people in his area of town.. and there had been burglaries and that he was armed and vigilante.

He called the police..........

Nope. But, that didn't stop Jesse Jacson and the media, did it?

It would have been much more compelling and he could have made a better case that "he was Zimm" had he indicated that the black kid punched and broke his nose then hit his head into the ground opening wounds on the back of his head "probably requiring stitches". As witness 6 stated, and in case you were not aware, it really hurts to have your head hit into the concrete. BTW, the author made no additional posts RE: Zimm. That would seem to indicate that he doesn't feel as strong about the case as he originally did , so it is very possible that his stance softened as more information came out (seems to be pretty common with links you post) - but I am reading into that quite a bit.

No wonder that they send innocent people to prison.

The author was a more mature person... He didn't get excited or angry or lose control.. He called the police.

They both called the police. The author then kept an eye on the guy until the police arrived, just as Zimm may have attempted to do. I don't believe that either of them calling the police and keeping an eye on the suspect warranted a broken nose and wounds to the back of their heads that "probably required stitches". Apparently you disagree.

Just further evidence that you and most other individuals are very different. For example, you would give your son who had just been suspended for illegal activities $50.00 and leave them alone for an entire weekend - most parents wouldn't have.

^ No even half caring parent would. EVEN MORE, they would not allow that teen to be in charge of a younger sibling for the weekend.

His parents are completely rotten and are in it for the money. If they has spend 1% attention to TM when he was alive as dead, he probably wouldn't be.

the George Zimmerman Circus continues....

RIP Trayvon Martin. Gerorge will get his....

You got one message accurate. Trayvon Martin is dead. That means he lost the fight he started.

I guess the old judge got tired of the circus that is George Zimmerman .

I guess the old judge got tired of the circus that is George Zimmerman .

Then why did the old judge want to remain on the case and was only removed after being ordered to by the appeal panel?
