George Zimmerman's new new judge: Debra S. Nelson

Both men are black. I don't see how this is a civil rights case.

George could have shut up and asked for a lawyer.. The State would be obliged to get him a public defender.

George didn't want a lawyer because GZ is so smart.. and for several days he was one of them.. having the run of SPD and being the center of attention.

No son of mine (or brother) would have been so stupid.. as to trade off a rational defense for momentary celebrity.

A typo. George Zimmerman was broke.
You are just upset because GZ was able to post bond and is not having to rely on a politically elected public defender in the same political party as the prosecutor and the judge.

Nearly all people charged with murder who remain silent and use a PA are found guilty. It was only when the president declared that this was a race issue and GZ killed his surrogate son - plus they started firing and demoting officers who claimed the evidence did not support prosecution that he was even charged - and then the DA had to refuse to allow a grand jury to review that case.

Then I respectfully submit you have absolutely no idea what racism means. The race of the perpetrator does not determine if something is an act or word of racism. For example, in The Boyz in the Hood there is a scene where a black cop responds to a home invasion where the homeowner shot at, but missed the criminal who was black. The black cop said it was too bad he missed because it would have been one less n-word on the street. He obviously didn't say it in a friendly fashion.

Black people commit acts of racism against other blacks all the time. I suggest you take some time to learn about how racism works

Z was in *fear* when Z responds using deadly force

Problem is that the physical evidence begins to add up. TM wasn't trying to kill George, he was trying to restrain George.. And for while he did so successfully because he had a longer reach.

i find it amazing, that even in his hastily constructed justification, much of hte evidence fits. I mean, my god. He even realized he had to make an excuse why the blood was on his face "I got on top of T to hold him down". He is one frigging genius, to believe you.

Was he bleeding from his head? Did the first responder indicate his head was covered in blood? Do head wounds not bleed very badly? Are you seriously trying to argue that Z did not have a badly bleeding head wound?

They should eliminate the Martin Luther King Jr holiday replacing it with the Travyon Martin holiday and do the same with MLK street signs.

There is so much Trayvon Martin showed us and parents should teach their children to live as he did. Following his example as a society has more benefts than can really be calculated. For example, he showed us that the hundreds of billions spend on education is a total waste and even counter productive. All schools should be closed down. This would solve the budget problems in almost every community and go a long way towards reducing the national debt.

He also was a martyre for privacy rights, showing that you should kill anyone watching you or calling the police on you without your permission. We can learn much by his life and death.

As a typical T supporter, just change the facts to what you like. Z clearly had a wound to his head and that wound was bleeding profusely, as most, if not all, head wounds will do and as evidenced by the first responder who indicated under oath that Z's head was covered with blood. But, again, as most T supporters are wont to do, feel free to just ignore the known facts.

George is a Democrat.. as if anyone cared... and its a bald faced lie to claim the president called this a race issue. If you have to lie, you're losing.

The medical report from GZ's physician said NO HEAD TRAUMA.

Head trauma or not....M physically attacked Z without legal provocation and at that critical point in time it matters....where Z's fear of serious bodily harm or death kicks in

So then... Z had a heavily bleeding head wound (as almost all head wounds are). How long does it take for the blood from such a head wound to end up in an indivduals face? How about the few seconds that Z stated he was on top of T. Yes, that is all it would take.

You said he had a gushing head wound. It wasn't even close to that.

Ever seen that iPhone pic of his head? Did you notice how the bleeding had already stopped on its own? Did you notice the lack of any scratches at all that would been present if his head was hit on concrete?

It was a gushing head wound. Even the EMT guy said his head was about 50% covered with blood and would probably need stitches, while under oath. How do you think he had all that blood on his head if his wound was not bleeding profusely?

But... leave it up to a t supporter to ignore the facts and substitute their own.

After being shown that it was bleeding very heavily and Z was covered in blood, you run away with a silly excuse. I don't blame you. I probably would too.
