I was a Republican for over 30 years until Bush's second term.. Now I vote independent... and I knew about Ric Scott from the early 1990s.. Don't like him at all.. He's a crook.

But we all know you are a Republican. An old, white "rich" Republican as you explain yourself. I have no doubt there has never been anyone charged with any crime that you did not summarily declare guilty - particularly if poor and therefore below you.

I haven't been a Republican since Bush launched the war on Iraq... and I have served on many juries, both as juror and jury foreman... A trial is not about economic status, or education, or political parties or race..

But, I am getting a much clearer picture of your values and resentments.

If any were criminal trials I'm certain you went with "guilty," like your lengths to declare GZ guilty by applying every hateful insult and condemnation against him, his wife, his attorney, and anyone who does not agree with you.

Yes.. most were criminal trials.. and I have been deposed in both civil and criminal cases... and once I testified before the Public Service Commission.

Most on this forum would guess that an older white woman incessantly boasting of her wealth as her primary reason of being superior to others - and incessant demeaning statements about ordinary people - would have a history of voting Republican. But that unfairly gives Republicans a bad rap.

Oh I am older and white.. My husband and I started the Young Republicans in our community decades ago. But I simply cannot stomach the NeoCons.

I worked my tail off for many decades and I have had many interesting opportunities.

So you were Ford over Reagan and part of the "Moderates" vs Pat Robertson religious rightwing disputes.

Actually, I've calculated about everything about you accurately. The "moderates" also were called the "economic conservatives" who did NOT want the party entangled in social issues such as a abortion. But there was no keeping out the evangelicals who also focused on getting delegates to conventions with success. So instead the party ultimately instead it decided to use them. If they couldn't stop them, merge with them.

I gather your "independence" means you are still Republican, but are very anti-evangelicals generally anti-Tea Party. You wish Republicans could run another Eisenhower.

The first time I worked the polls was when Nixon was elected. I have always been pro choice.

I am not sure why this is important to you...

I would have voted for Jon Huntsman if he could have gotten any traction... the rest of the Republican candidates seem like nincompoops to me.
