One of the things about the Zimmerman/Martin case that puzzles me is; why did this particular case get so much media attention? There are murders every day. Some of the murders are pretty spectacular. Some of them involve different ethnicities. Yet few of them get the attention of the Zimmerman/Martin case. I don't get it. I really don't. I have heard it said that the media throws its full attention only onto cases that involve specifically white-on-black crime, as if the media is trying to show America that it is whitey who is committing the cross-racial crimes. There may be some truth to it but I don't blame the media for being something of a watchdog for minorities. I wonder if the Zimmerman/Martin case might not have been swept under the rug without some media attention. But all that aside, all the attention still seems like overkill, both from the media's endlessly pushing this case on us, to us, the public, sucking it all in and making entire internet forum folders dedicated to the case. Personally, I was ready for the next big news item three days after the Zimmerman/Martin case broke.
There is some mystery and misdirection of the truth, conflicts in testimony conflicts in evidence. It seems difficult to know what was in the mind of Trayvon and Zim.
What was Zim thinking, immediately after having been punched in the nose, and as Zim was falling toward the ground. A desision had to have been made, either to fall to the ground, and come to a motionless stop on the ground, or a decision to try to roll as he hit the ground, and get back up to retreat as soon as possible. Zim told the police that he was trying to go back to his SUV, some 70 feet away, implying that Zim was not taking a flop, that Zim was trying to run or otherwise retreat, back to his SUV. Zim implies that he was UNABLE to get up, at any point in his fall and landing on the ground, but does not desribe any actual effort made to regain his feet.
To me, since Zim is a potted plant liar, lying more by omission, half-truths and misdirection, and conspiracy, Zim' omission of any account of trying to get up after being punched in the nose, is silence for Zim's self-benefit, and Zim's statement that he was heading back to his SUV is a half-truth, because Zim, I believe, was actually trying to engage Trayvon.
Zim was only headed back to his SUV, because Trayvon had gotten too far ahead of Zim, for Zim to follow Trayvon. So Zim was trying to draw out Trayvon, by heading back to his SUV. Is there proof? Only my experience with Potted Plant Liars, and Zim's omissions from his statements. Mysterious.
News ratings go up when news of Zim is discussed. The Media mostly only put things on that incrase their ratings, which they constantly measure against other news programs, and what they are covering.
