The Facts of the Case Against George Zimmerman [W:716]

Exactly. Alleged. By the defendant. Why are we assuming that this was an assault?

The injuries to Zimmerman, including a broken nose and cuts/scrapes to the back of his head are a clue, coupled with witness statements that Zimmerman was being beaten by Martin. This is the entire reason for the refusal of the local DA to bring charges in the first place. If you are not to use deadly force, in self defense, after having your nose broken and while your head is being repeatedly pounded into the ground then when would you be? The 'stand your ground' law allows the use of deadly force if you even think that you are in danger, IMHO Zimmerman knew that he was in danger, not just imagined it to be possible. When seconds really count, the police are only minutes away.

It seems like a lot of folks are too freakin' stupid to know that people are beaten to death by unarmed people every single day.

The fact that Martin was "unarmed" doesn't mean doodly squat. It's totally irrelevant.

You mean the defendant in a Murder II trial? I think you're confused. You wouldn't consider the dead guy to be the victim, but the guy with a broken nose is? LOL

I love this ****... they're still at the murderer is a 'victim'.

If 160lb teenager trayvon killed Zimmer with his bear hands... he was either retarded or deserved it.

Martin Can't claim self defense when he stalked Trayvon...

Does Trayvon not have the right to defend himself from a suspicious man?

I am freely willing to admit that I am not that bright.

If the PD HAD used the phrase, "Don't do that," how exactly would things be different?
That would merely be one less thing for left wing nut jobs and anti-white racists to lie about in this case.

Here is the real question that Martin supporters can't seem to answer...

Maybe he stopped and had a cigarette? You have no ****ing idea where he was and why. Quit making **** up! Unbelievable. LOL

You keep making it up and I'll keep calling you out. We can play that game all day.

Where did you get the idea that his head was repeatedly pounded into the ground? I've heard reports of a broken nose, so I'll give you that, but don't just go around making up **** that you can't prove. A broken nose is not a justifiable pretense to shooting someone in the heart.

No, no, this is a travesty... he was curb stomped like in american history x...

he had to have been... how else to rationalize his cold blooded murder?

trayvon was a little panther thug...

oy... oy...

You are aware that two of the three second hand accounts from z include the fight beginning as z "reached for his phone, right?

With the one from someone "familiar with the case" at SPD including the gun coming into view and the fight being OVER the gun, right?

By your definition, if M thought Z was reaching for his gun he was authorized to use lethal force on Z, right?

Here is the real question that Martin supporters can't seem to answer...

It's not a real question.
The answer is meaningless.
There is no answer from anyone that can have any real bearing [except Martin but we know that he ain't forthcoming atm].
Any answer would only be speculation. No mater how plausible or implausible of an answer someone beside M can come up w/ has any bearing on the matter at hand afaict.

fwiw, it's been posited more than once in more than one location that M had the same reservations about revealing the location of where he was staying that Zimmerman had about revealing where he stayed.

Holy **** Trayvon was Zimmer's Neighbor?
someone please correct me if I'm wrong...
He may have been in some sense. The prosecution calls Brandy Green's the place where Trayvon was living iirc.

But, I wouldn't call them neighbors myself mostly because that wasn't "really" M's place of regular residence.

Perhaps you can answer why it took Zimmerman 3 minutes to walk the 200 feet from the area in that image marked "George 7:11" to "George 7:14?"

Or perhaps you can explain why that image assumes Trayvon headed south before cutting through the buildings and not using the same cut through that Zimmerman used, since Zimmerman was following Trayvon, presumably, that's where he would have observed Trayvon heading?

Thanks.

Grim17 can't answer that question in any meaningful way afaict.
But Z has answered that question [more or less] by telling the PD what happened that night.

Grim's answer is irrelevant. Z's answer is crucial.

Why couldn't this have just be posted in the one of about 20 threads, debating this same exact subject?

How is anyone expect to be able to keep up with convos in multiple threads?

Well Zimmerman's answer makes no sense. I was hoping grim could at least offer up a more lucid answer than Zimmerman, even though he has to make it up.

Other than the exact route Travon and Z took prior to the confrontation (because that hasn't been made public) what did I make up?

So, tell me how scared Martin was of Z if he decided to stop for a smoke instead of going back to his fathers place?

Why didn't Martin go home?

this stupid image shows just who's side you are on.

No, It graphically states what has failed thus far in written posts, to get a logical answer for from Martin supporters.

Don't you Martin supporters get it? Trayvon ran from Zimmerman and was home free. The fact he didn't call police and didn't go home makes it very clear that Martin did not fear Zimmerman at all. Since Zimmerman didn't know where Martin was after he ran, the spot of that confrontation wasn't the result of Zimmerman catching Martin in a foot race and tackling him there, or the result of Z cornering him... It was a location of Martin's choosing, otherwise it would have taken place in front of Martin's dad's place where he was living, not way up there close to where Zimmerman had lost sight of him.

Use some damned common sense and put your political and idealogical beliefs aside for once.

George Zimmerman DID NOTHING WRONG here

The Facts of the Case Against George Zimmerman

I've noticed a rather large number of people who seem to defend George Zimmerman tooth and nail. What I find disturbing about this is that they insist Zimmerman deserves a fair trial, and he does, but then disregard that Trayvon Martin does not get a trial to defend himself. He's ****ing dead. None of you mind throwing him under a bus to make your case, and you're assholes for doing that. So instead of being douches and just making **** up, let's look at the facts of the case:

1) Trayvon Martin was watching the NBA All-Star game at his father's girlfriend's house (that was his first mistake, the NBA All-Star game is a joke). He apparently got thirsty and/or hungry, so he decided to walk to the neighborhood 7-Eleven. The store was over a mile away and he left at 6:40.

Hard to take you seriously when your first point is false.

The NBA all star game started at 7:30 EST. Trayvon was already dead so it is impossible that he was watching the game. That is just a fairy tale spun by the martin family to portray their son as an innocent wholesome kid.

He was watching pre-All Star game coverage. All in all a moot point that has no bearing on the incident itself. Watching or not watching an NBA All-star game has jack to do with innocence or wholesomeness.
