NBC News distorts Zimmerman 911 call

This is really sad to watch. These are the supporters of a failed administration who are thrashing and splashing while they go down. Glub....glub.........glub................gl.....ub.............

This is disgusting... Just go to the 2:30 mark and see for yourself...

Bozell on Hannity 'Media Mash': NBC Deliberately Skewed Travyvon Martin Story with Selective Editing | MRCTV

Are you dumb or something ?

This thread is about distorting the news, or did I miss something?

Take a straw man, erect it, and then point to it instead of facing the reality of NBC deliberately editing a transcript to further their race baiting agenda.

They all do that now don't they?

Why do you and faux get so but hurt when others do it?

When was the last instance of deliberate right wing editing?

The video linked in the OP itself is an excellent example. For instance, the juxtaposition of member of the Congressional Black Caucus with the New Black Panther Party.

The complaints in the OP are overblown. Of course, Hannity brings no presumption of impartiality, but there's a certain irony here nonetheless.

James O'Keefes videos.

Both the one about ACORN and the one about NPR.

Clearly deceptively edited.

Me and Grim go way back on this stuff, but you're new so ill give you a quick breakdown.

Propaganda and manipulation of public opinion through the use of persuasion science is my "thing" here.

I am convinced it is at the heart of the divide in this country and our inability to solve our problems.

The difference between Grim and I is that I don't like it when ANYBODY does it and Grim only seems to care when "liberals" do it.

This is not the first time I have concurred with Grim's assessment on an incident.

To my knowledge he has never returned the courtesy. As far as I can tell he actually believes liberals are the only ones who use these tools to further their agendas.

That or he's an intellectually dishonest partisan hack.

I honestly haven't been able to decide for sure.

Why do you avoid responsibility and support dishonest race baiting hacks? Why do you walk around with poopy pants and dog poop on your shoes? Why do you wear paper wings and flap them when you get excited? Why do you bark at cars and pee on bushes?

Propaganda and media manipulation is my thing also. We should have lots of fun.

Show me the video.

LMMFAO...

A new "Go off topic and attack fox" liberal record!

You all are so pathetically predictable.

Seriously, going to Hanniety for something on bias? :2funny:

I just heard this on a local radio show. Someone should be fired for that nasty little trick.

Right on Boo... Attack the source and avoid the topic... GREAT JOB!

BTW, if you object to what was presented, let's hear it... Since I know you can't, why don't you run along and play somewhere else.

That is the case here. I'll explain my position very clearly. I am of moderate intelligence, at least. I can tell red from green. I know what time it is on the clock and I know the date. Okay?
If that's your definition of moderate intelligence, then -- by your standards -- Forrest Gump is a Mensa candidate :lamo

Now when I see deliberate dishonesty in media reporting, I will expose it, regarless of where it comes from. Now when you start a thread on deliberate dishonety from conservatives please post it and I will join you in condemning it. [...]

Yes, ABC did edit the 911 tape, but the overblown outrage exhibited by Hannity, considering his serial complicity in much worse examples, is like a pot the size of Mt. Everest calling a kettle the size of a grain of sand black. Anyone who doesn't think Martin's death was the result of the color of his skin is dumber than Mensa candidate Mr. Gump

Overblown?

NBC (not ABC) editing a tape so it makes the man out to be a racist, stoking the fires of pending race riots, i'm sure is no big deal to you, but to people with a conscience like myself, it is about as irresponsible and despicable as it comes.

I guess since it works for your political agenda, it's no big deal.

The agenda seems to be all yours. The man is a racist, otherwise he would not have been chasing a black man (are you going to argue that he would have chased a white Treyvon Martin?) and would not have been uttering racial epithets under his breath (and making other comments).

Playing the tape in its entirety is no less inflammatory than the edited portion they (NBC, it seems) released.

The despicable things are the attempts by local agitators (Sharpton, et al) to get Zimmerman arrested via intimidation, putting a bounty on his head (NBP), and attempting to publicize his home address (Lee). The media is doing none of that.

More liberal ignorance. He didn't even know if the guy he was following was white, black or hispanic, the dispatcher asked him. He said he 'looked black'. Meaning at night, the best he could answer was that it appeared he was black.

I agree with you, I see feigned outrage here.

To be honest, I think that they're both wrong.

Obama didn't say that they were bad people, nor that they aren't bad people. He just told us one reason that was not true. Based on what Obama said, they still could have been bad people but do the things that they do because it's profitable. So, he didn't say, as Olberman said, that they aren't bad people. He really only addressed the reason that they do what they do.
