Coronavirus live updates: Global case total hits 100,000; many Bay Area workers told to stay home - SFChronicle.com

Photo: The 129th Rescue Wing of the California National Guard delivered coronavirus test kits Thursday to the Grand Princess, a San Francisco-bound cruise ship carrying 3,400 people that officials held for a second day off the coast of California as they plan how to deal with passengers and crew members who may be infected. Being on a cruise ship today is like being in Hell. The sick crew & staff have to serve the sick passengers night day. And the Real World can only drop supplies by National Guard helicopters. No idea of how long they will have to endure this but it's not good for the huge cruise ship industry. I'll bet you can get some real bargains for cruises now.

My friend just went on a cruise for his honeymoon. No issues.

You can take a cruise, probably get a great deal, but you are exposing yourself in a floating virus incubator if even only one fellow passenger has this virus. Then you may be stuck for weeks in isolation as the virus infects passengers & crew,
