What Happens When Democrats Run Your State?

Sorry but I just couldn't finish watching it. It was too... partisan I guess is a good enough word for now. I don't like California. The laws of that state are tyrannical imo and 95% of the Californians that I have ever met are arrogant assholes that try to change the area that they move to via law in order to make it exactly like the laws that they have said they were trying to get away from to begin with. Never made sense to me. But this video was just garbage.

Such beautiful scenery and the liberals have just ruined the State of California.

I wasn't going to waste a half hour watching the whole biased video. However, the first claim it made was that 'liberal policies are causing migration from California.' As of December 2017, California Population Grew By 300K, Nears 40 Million.

Moreover, the time periods mentioned were times that California had a Republican governor and lived under conservative policies, like Proposition 13.

If that video is supposed to be evidence that liberal policies when they are enacted at the state level, the claim is an epic failure. California, if it were a country, would have the sixth largest economy in the world and has a population that is generally content. It is also a state that contributes more than it receives from the federal government. Which are the states that receive more from the federal government? Those are generally the red states, that hate the federal government.

When I see bad stuff about California I just think...who do you think you are kidding? California and NY are the chief economic centers of this country. You can publish a million youtube videos and it won't change the reality.

You mean California, a state that has an economy in the top 10 of the world?

you right wingers really are pathetic. Should we post pics of all the red state crumbling towns, trailer parks, toothless meth and heroin addicts? Red states has just as much ****holes as do any place.

Oh, and you rag on about poverty, but guess who actually tries to help? Who fights for livable wages, ability of kids in poor neighborhoods to get access to better education, have at least one solid meal a day? Dems.

Who actually does everything in their power to make sure people stay poor and keep wages stagnant and cheers on giving billionaires tax breaks, the people who have all the wealth.

You people cheer on policies that have allowed the top 1% to gain 85% of wealth gains

Top 1% of Earners Take Home Majority of Income Growth | Money

Wow, no wonder there are crumbling poor neighborhoods and increased poverty.

Have lived and worked in California, did not find it to be home for me. Now that said the video is BS, first thing I noticed was the mixing of new data with lots of old data that is not long accurate, after that I watched only a little more and knew what I was watching was noting more then a Conservative Propaganda piece. Major thread fail IMO.

Democrats ran Georgia from the end of the Civil War until 2002 when we elected our first ever Republican governor and state legislature. Georgia did just fine under Democrats and is doing just fine under Republicans. I may have/had some policy differences under both parties, but overall, both in my opinion has done a good job of running my state.

The good thing is that in all this time or at least in my life time Georgia hasn't lurched left or right and has been on a fairly constant path regardless of who or which party was in charge.

What does 'law in order' mean?

Read the rest of the sentence. I'm sure you'll get the gist.

I read the whole post. I've never seen the term 'law in order' and wondered what it meant. Apparently you say it's the way Californians change the laws in the place they move to but that doesn't tell me what the process is.

It's not a process. Read the full sentence. Or at least more than 3 damn words. And use reading comprehension. It helps. Tremendously.

via law in order to make it exactly like

If all you're doing is bucking for some points because I didn't use some kind of punctuation that you think should be in there buzz off.

Back off, bucko. I read your whole post and showed you that I understand what you wrote. I never heard that term and asked you to tell me what it means. If you don't want to tell me, fine, go pound sand.
Or, how's this for a possibility- you don't know. You just parroted that term and don't know what the hell you're talking about. Yeah, you know, that sounds likely. You don't know what the term means but you like the sound of it so you thought you'd toss it in.
Tell you one thing I know for sure. If you can't explain something, you don't understand it yourself.

What does 'law in order' mean?

A couple of commas would have helped but the context was more than rich enough.

"... change the area that they move to, via law, in order to make it exactly like the laws ... .'

Fecal matter is elusive, and doesn’t necessarily register until it’s crusted on the bottom of your shoe. But there might be a dark cloud of poo hovering above your city, as evidenced by this stinky, stinky map.

Citing human waste reports made in San Francisco, software engineer Jenn Wong mapped the city’s most poop-ridden neighborhoods, and it is a feast for watery eyes. Her project, called Human Wasteland, is pretty exhaustive, listing reports made by individual 311 calls from 2008-2015. If there was a frantic call made to city authorities about a steaming pile over that seven-year period, it’s listed in Wong’s map in the form of that ubiquitous poop emoji.

Seems liberal public policies really have turned San Francisco into a ****hole.

I feel that I may own you an apology Grand Mal. I was extremely irritable earlier today and I shouldn't have taken it out on you. Please accept my sincere apologies good sir.

Camlok has the right of it. I should have kept my composure and simply did what Camlok did.

Again Grand Mal, please accept my sincere apologies.

Seems liberal public policies turned the best countries in the world into, well, the best countries in the world.
