And now President Trump got 62% of the vote. Hillary barely beat the independent. 27 - 21%.

Your percentages add to 110, and leave out all other 3rd parties, 5.5% more.

The True Numbers in Utah were: trump = 45.5%, 16.5% lower than the number you presented, Clinton = 27.5%, McMullin = 21.5%, Johnson = 3.5%, and the rest with 2.0%.

And who did the rather literate public choose?

69.5% chose the literate one Cruz in the Utah primary, then Kasich 15.7%, with trumpybear at 13.9% ...

You're correct. I don't know why I got 62% stuck in my head.

I see Huntsman Sr. refereeing here. He's no friend of Sen. Lee either. Romney has two good terms in him, since being 70/80 plus seems to be a prime age for GOP senators ...

So they aren't idiots. And they reelected Hatch.... The people's choice.

Well, they did elect Sen. Lee, though that was more of a convention thing. They've elected good governors over the four plus decades I've been going out there, though we had to byob to UT back in the day ...

I just think it is ironic Haymarket repeats his mantra of the will of the people and that term limits are a way of thwarting the will of the people....

Only to cry this guy should go.

yes - and if 2016 repeats itself in every way with Clinton as the candidate - the results might be the same if no Trump supporters have changed their minds.

Hatch is a RINO and a hypocrite.

In 1976, in his first run for public office, Hatch was elected to the United States Senate, defeating Democrat Frank Moss, a three-term incumbent. Among other issues, Hatch criticized Moss's 18-year tenure in the Senate, saying "What do you call a Senator who's served in office for 18 years? You call him home."[9] Hatch ran on the promise of term limits[10] and argued that many Senators, including Moss, had lost touch with their constituents.[11]
