'Impeach Maxine Waters' street art appears in Inglewood...

I was just reading your post as you wrote it. Whatever.

Yeah, my bad. I thought you could recall house members. I must've been thinking of state house and local politicians.

Perhaps the "artist" thought the same thing about impeachment.

Hasn't Trump shown us what's in store for us when we follow "The Right Wing" ?

I love this street sign.

And many of those "teat suckers" you like to insult are republican voters (see welfare recipient trailer park conservatives). So again the fact the republicans can't get a candidate, even a black one, shows how much they suck.

Her district is almost exclusively black and Hispanic. There are very few Republicans in those groups.

Whoever designed this artwork is a dimwitted moron because you can't impeach a congresswoman. If you want her out of office, you must hold a recall election.

You might want to check Article I, Section 5 of the Constitution before you call someone a "dimwitted moron" on this.

For curiosities' sake- any Democrats on the board want to offer up anything good about Maxine Waters? I don't think anyone besides Watts thinks she should be in the House.
Yes. She votes for the right things, like defending the middle class against the cuts in services and conservative's addiction to coddling the wealthy. End of story.

That is opposed to most Republicans that vote for tax-cuts for the rich; throwing 20 million people off of health insurance and cutting Social Security and Medicare. If any Congress-folks should lose their seats, it should be Republicans.

Sure they are sure they are. Common excuse when republicans suck so much they can't put up a candidate. I guess there are no black republicans huh? What an idiotic comment you just said and borderline racist. No people on the right on welfare huh?

I'm not terribly familiar with Waters's district. Since you are, why don't you offer up the name of a couple of Republicans in that district who might be able to successfully challenge her?

yeah, she wants to help the people in her district, like earmarking legislation of the 1993 Flood Relief Legislation for the mid - west to give everyone in her CA district 100 dollars.

the sign is funny, all students must have i.d.

but voters are not required have i.d.

I noticed that too. It's hilarious. Where are the protests for this school? Intriguingly absent.

"Dimwitted" would be not seeing that they were making connection between Maxine's statement about Pres. Trump and getting her out of office. It's called using "artistic license" to make a point. But I'm pretty sure that fully understood that from the start and your post was nothing more than a lame attempt at discrediting the sentiment behind this act of vandalism in the cause of making a political statement. I also fully expect that this will used as an example when someone like myself asks for an example of a conservative destroying public or private property to make political point as so many on the left have recently.

The United States Constitution (Article 1, Section 5) gives the House of Representatives the power to expel any member by a two-thirds vote. Expulsion of a Representative is rare: only five members of the House have been expelled in its history.

Ahhh right wing apples and oranges...

Minors attending school must have ID, as much to ensure the safety of minors in the school's care- all walking the halls must have ID- as help the staff recognize intruders from students. makes sense yes???

Voters are adults exercising their constitutional rights and the voter officials have no real requirement to ensure their safety while inside the poll area...

As an aside, not even Trump can find any real evidence elections have been influenced by voter fraud by voters, and seems intent on ignoring any influence by foreign powers... Imagine that... :peace

to work a job or collect welfare from any government, one must have a i.d...to say one must have an i.d. for school but one would not be needed to live thru receiving wages or assistance for ones life is ridiculous

voting is not a right its a privilege per the constitution, so you have shown you don't know what you are talking about

As a result, voting is not a right, but a privilege granted or withheld at the discretion of local and state governments.

Nice you dropped the rabid right ignorant talking point about schools... :)

The Constitution refers repeatedly to the right to vote... you must have blinders on...

The 12th, 17th, 19th, 23rd, 24th and 26th amendment all refer to the right to vote...

Now point to where I said anything about collecting government assistance and IDs... :peace

YOU show you don't have any knowledge on this subject, there is no right to vote

the amendments to the constitution are law, no law has EVER created a right in the U.S. ....NEVER

Even though there’s no specific ‘right to vote’ in the Constitution, like the “right to free speech”, or the “right to bear arms”, there are general protections that apply. The right to vote has been recognized by the Supreme Court as a “liberty interest” protected under the 14th Amendment to the Constitution. If a state interferes with a fundamental “liberty interest” of a US citizen, it cannot do so without “due process”, or in a way that violates the “equal protection” clause of the 14th amendment.

The Right to Vote | Disability Justice

U.S. Constitution is not explicit on the right to vote, Wisconsin Rep. Mark Pocan says | PolitiFact Wisconsin

my point about an i.d. ............ to live as an adult in America and to work a job or collect government assistance one must have an i.d.

i never said you said anything, i said " to say", which is a term referring to "generally speaking"

u.s. constitution - Article 1 Section. 2.

The House of Representatives shall be composed of Members chosen every second Year by the People of the several States, and the Electors in each State shall have the Qualifications requisite for Electors of the most numerous Branch of the State Legislature.

rights do not have "Qualifications requisite", privileges do.

You show you refuse to accept what you have posted- the right to vote is protected by the 4th amendment (FYI amendments are part of the Constitution  )

The right to vote is referenced in the many amendments I cited.

I realize some must have everything spelled out in very simple terms but the rest of us can see the many references to the right as well as Supreme Court rulings CITING THE CONSTITUTION enshrining a right to vote... :peace
