Wildly incorrect. The OP is whining that women, gays and other religions have rights, and it's not an uncommon theme among ignorant conservatives. You may not file yourself under that category, but that ideology is a disease that's festering deep in the hearts of many Americans. No, this isn't a white christian nation and not getting special privileges or being able to force your views on others is not being persecuted.

That you'd compare me saying that white christians shouldn't have a stranglehold on our society to "colored entrance in back" shows how insanely bent you are on victimizing yourself. If you agree with the OP and think gays, women and muslims having rights hurts your poor, white male christian sensibilities, lay out the case for it.

while i am not fan of CA the state legislature does has the authority to make laws that some of its citizens do not like and even citizens of other states don't like, but the government should not be creating laws to make people equal, because those type of laws lead to rights violations.

governments are to see every person is treated equally UNDER THE LAW, not to make laws which make people equal BY law.

I think you're missing the point of what the OP said. He's saying why do laws who protect all have to specify certain details of those they protect. Like for instance, why not simply state that no one shall be discriminated upon based on race, creed, religion, nationality or sexual orientation. Oh wait -we already have that. So what he is saying is why isn't that good enough? Why do we have to do more? When/where will it stop. I foresee a future where people who are tattooed up to their eyeballs will have trouble seeking and getting employment. Will we then include them in the class of protected?

And, his point is simply that one simple statement should cover us all. California is definitely the land of "offended people". They seem to be offended by everyone (my opinion and his). So maybe the question does need to be raised? Shouldn't all of Californians put on their big boy/girl britches and get on with their lives?

It's not a zero sum game chief. Giving equal rights to others does not take away you're rights. White Christian Men in the United States already have by far the easiest lives of any group of people that has ever lived in all of humanity. If you're a White Christian male and you're struggling in life you have absolutely no one to blame but yourself.

It's people like yourself that are the special snowflakes. You're the one that believes you need special treatment above and beyond the rest of the world. The rest of the world is asking for equality and you're asking for more privileges than you already have.

I am a white man myself, and I can tell you first hand that my life has been so ****ing easy because of that fact it's ridiculous. It's a ****ing cake walk. If you're struggling in life then you have absolutely nobody to blame but yourself. Your skin color, your genitals, and your god are not holding you back in any way shape or form. You were given a massive lead in your life. You're pretty much the Atlanta Falcons of life. If you still manage to lose the game you should kick your own self in the nuts for it.

Yes they have. And even if they weren't. It wasn't their skin color that screwed them over or held them back. It's the fact that they were too dumb to take advantage of all the privileges they received.

Trump supporters are like fat white kids who got a 20 yard head start in a 40 yard dash just because they're white, but still lost because they're slow and fat. But instead of owning up to the reality that they're insanely slow they bitch about the skinny black kid that blew by them getting to start too close to them. i don't know about you, but in my time I've gone without food because we didn't have any and no money to buy it, and been discriminated by a company because i was not the right color and i am white.

your posting it pretty much a rant against a group of people

I'm not victimizing myself, I'm pointing out your bigotry. I don't know ANY conservatives who have ANY opposition to women, gays and other religions having rights. I know a LOT that oppose giving them special rights. Aren't we supposed to be working towards a society where gender, race, religion, etc. are not used to divide us?? Yet, the LEFT is 100% committed to furthering the divide by granting additional rights to certain groups based on these kind of things and then thinking that because conservatives just want everyone to be treated the same, that we're the problem. It's the LEFT that doing the dividing, we conservatives just want people judge on the kind of person they are and how well they contribute to our society. The left just can't seem to get past pigeon-holing people into categories based on who/what they are. That's chauvinism.

Convenient isn't it? Being able to just move on to another place like it's no big deal. That's really easy to do when your entire country is brimming with people that have the same skin color you do. You can fit in anywhere and nobody gives you dirty looks.

That's white privilege. If you're white there's a handful of places where you can wind up where you might feel out numbered and awkward. If you're black, Latino, Muslim, gay, trans, atheist, jew.....hell even if your female. Almost everywhere you go you feel like you're surrounded and out numbered by people that either hate you or treat you like a lower life form to be used and abused. If you're a minority there's only a few places you can go to feel like you fit in.

If you ever got lost and your car broke down in the middle of an all black neighborhood at night you'd **** your pants with fear. Well if a black guy, a muslim or a woman's car breaks down in the middle of the night almost anywhere in America they have the same fear you would.

Yeah, gays getting married, blacks voting and women in the work place are all violating your rights. Listen, snowflake, you're not persecuted and you're not disadvantaged by other people having rights. The fact that you pretend you don't know anyone that's against gays having the right to marry shows you're incredibly dishonest. At least half of the conservatives on this forum and nationwide think that, so pardon me the drama about how conservatives care about equal rights.
