7/4/18
BEIRUT — The Islamic State has said the son of its top leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has been killed fighting Syrian government forces. The announcement of the death of Baghdadi’s young son appeared on the group’s social media accounts late Tuesday. It included a picture of a youth carrying a rifle and identified him as Huthaifa al-Badri. The statement, dated this month, said he was an elite fighter, known as an ‘‘inghimasi,’’ who was killed while fighting Syrian and Russian troops at a power station in the central Homs province. It did not specify when he was killed.

Could be a ruse. No sympathy from this quarter.

He looks like a child to me. No sympathy for the father who sent his son into a meat grinder. Sorrow for the boy who will never fulfill his potential.

isis warrior killed - good thing
isis warrior killed by syrian national forces loyal to al-assad - good thing ... but isn't our government fighting against him?
so much for "the enemy of my enemy"

His potential was killing "infidels". Good riddance.

A brainwashed kid.

Honestly, I'm struggling to post anything in this thread because I don't feel sorry for him or daddy. He was never going to grow up, spawned to die, I think the only thing left now is for daddy to join him... just feel sorry for all those virgins.

I agree about the daddy. I hope someone shoots off his babymaker.

He's been separated from Daddy for a while now and didn't leave ISIS.

I can only assume he was where he wanted to be. Fighting to the end.

Syria and Iraq would surely have hung him.

What can I say? He was raised for this. It was what he knew. I can show pictures of my son at his age in his soccer uniform looking just as hard core. What a waste!

Maybe an old pic. But anyway I will not lie and say I am sorry the boy is dead. Any more than I felt sorrow in WWII over German boys my age being killed by our bombs.

Young? You mean child?

If you mean Western, educated volunteers, that's lunacy.

Actually, I was thinking of young western draftees, the kind I served with in the rice paddies. Yes, brainwashed kids, just like I was.

Today's volunteers are pretty much in the same boat. Without indoctrination and dogma, the military cannot operate.

All young soldiers are brainwashed kids.

I joined the Royal Navy when I was 16. I did not think then, and I do not think now, that I was 'brainwashed'.

British forces in WWII operated pretty well without 'indoctrination and dogma'. One cannot argue from the particular, here Vietnam, to the general.

Of course you don't. That is testimony to how well the indoctrination worked with you. Obviously, individuals react to indoctrination in different ways. Just recently a USMA cadet, having served a few tours as an enlisted man, walked away from the indoctrination. So did Daniel Ellsberg and many other conscientious objectors.

You probably shouldn't project yourself onto others.

Do you think that every action, by anyone at any time, is the result of indoctrination? Are your posts the product of the indoctrination you have be subjected to? Are there no people able to take decision after mature and informed thought? Were not the USMA cadet and Ellsberg themselves indoctrinated?

That wouldn't hesitate to put a .45 slug in the back of your head.

I got him pegged for a .380.

A .45 recoil would break this puny ****er's bones.

Should have stuck to video games. Dumb ass kid.

Right on Darwin!
