Should the FBI replace the DHS?

Should the DHS be dissolved along with any agency created after 9/11?

In this list of failed terror plots, you will find that the DHS has not stopped one terrorist attack.

Each of these were either foiled by local law enforcement or the FBI, not the DHS. The budget of DHS agencies created after 9/11 collectively add up to $32.169 billion while the FBI only consumes $8.3 billion annually.

DHS helps coordinate services in the furtherance of national security, something that was lacking in the lead up to 9/11.

Its subordinate agencies include the Coast Guard and the Secret Service. This thread's sentiment seems to be driven by a misunderstanding of the DHS' role.

So, no.

If you think it needs reform, then that's another story.

I like the competition. Give the other agencies more money and increase the transparency and control of Congress and the Judiciary over them.

The FBI has been corrupt since J Edgar was put in charge of it, and on after his death. Comey just demonstrated it again in the last few months.

DHS should be abolished, and Customs and the various other agencies restored to their previous independence.

Rational and accurate analysis cannot be valid if one still buys into the official story of 911.
