Autopsy: Man killed in drug raid had 9 gunshot wounds

HOUSTON (AP) — An autopsy report for a man who along with his wife was fatally shot by Houston police during a drug raid of their home says he suffered nine gunshot wounds.

The autopsy report said metabolites of marijuana were found in 59-year-old Dennis Tuttle’s bloodstream.

His wife was luckier: she only had 4 bullet wounds.

What do they use in TX for pot raids? Machine guns?

Not enough information.

Not enough information.
True.

But no claims to drugs found, beyond that in their systems, along with this below - is disconcerting:

Authorities continue investigating the shooting following allegations an officer lied in order to obtain the search warrant authorizing the raid.

That should terrify anyone. Whether it is a "known" person like Roger Stone, a suspected drug dealer, an innocent person, or a mistaken identity. I can only imagine someone breaking into our home, terrifying husband and I, or what's worse, traumatizing the dog.

And then the police release, "Tuttle had marijuana metabolites in his bloodstream"! Talk about trying to put lipstick on a pig!

This was back in January and the State is investigating it. Sounds bad all around.

Executed in their own home over cannabis. It's like the police had nothing better to do. Pathetic low lives.

I wish the Fed would legalize cannabis already. It's not right that it's legal in some states yet people are being shot to death by police for it in others.
