Brooklyn DA to throw out hundreds of marijuana convictions

Brooklyn’s top prosecutor is expected to dismiss hundreds of low-level marijuana convictions on Wednesday, following through on a plan announced earlier this year.

Brooklyn DA Eric Gonzalez will appear in court Wednesday morning and plans to vacate outstanding warrants related to low-level marijuana crimes, as well as past misdemeanor marijuana convictions, according to local reports.

Interesting following soon after the Governor's call to legalize recreational use of MJ in NY state.

Gonzalez is, of course, a Democrat: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eric_Gonzalez_(lawyer)

I think marijuana should be treated more like alcohol than heroin, which is why I voted to legalize it in my state in 2012. Of course, that also means repercussions for those abusing it, same as with alcohol.

You should argue secondary cause as an often rejected argument.
That's an odd thought.
Why should a person argue something they are not arguing?

Tell you what; You argue whatever you want to, I will will argue whatever I want. Okay?

It's been said before many times and it will be said again.

In a free society, you don't need a reason to make something legal, you need a reason to make it illegal. Making pot illegal is absolutely insane on its own, but when alcohol and cigs are legal in the same circumstances, it's downright stupid.
