Is it a war on drugs or a war on consumer use?


Prescription medications require Doctors' prescriptions.
Illegal drugs require demand and supply.
Alcohol and Cigarettes require age identification.

Legal 'drugs'?
 
The war on drugs is simply a rationalization for the usurpation of power by the government.

It allows government agencies such as the CIA to have a thriving black market from which to take large profits. It allows police agencies to stop anybody under the pretext of "looking for drugs". It is a way for the government to urinate on the Fourth Amendment.

a waste of money. a mission to Mars would be better.
