The bill filed Thursday in Congress would block Attorney General Jeff Sessions from cracking down on pot in states where it’s legal.

President Donald Trump "really" supports new legislation in Congress that would let state marijuana legalization thrive, untouched by the Justice Department, he said Friday.

The endorsement was a jolt for the bipartisan bill, but it also jabbed at Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who has relentlessly threatened a pot crackdown and would be hamstrung and humiliated by the measure.

Or maybe he just thinks it's best for our country?
 
I smoked pot - a lot of pot - daily for years in the 70s & 80s. Initially it helped me to verbalize a lot of things from my childhood that were bothering me. But it also distorted my judgement & I went on crazy & expensive tangents. At the end the pot I had was so potent it caused dysphoria & paranoia. Gave it up one night & flushed the stuff away. This stuff can be bad for you.

Sessions administers the law. Trump works with Congress to make the law.

Sessions will get over it.
 
if Trump said it, assume that the opposite is true. this is probably just his way of messing with Sessions.
