Yes! Salt can kill!
Let's play Devil's advocate here and say he's right.
Deaths related to Pot = 1
Deaths related to Alcohol = 86,798,433
Marijuana routinely drives people to kill...a bag of Doritos.
Your link sucks. "In the new case report, the authors never refer to the boy’s death as an overdose, and many of the details surrounding the death are still murky.
For instance, the doctors noted that the boy had been living in a motel and that a parent had admitted to drug possession, including cannabis. But the doctors noted no report of the boy actually ingesting cannabis. They instead wrote that it was unlikely — given the level of THC in the boy’s system — that he had merely been exposed to marijuana in passing.
The doctors could not say how much marijuana the boy likely ingested. They also could not pinpoint when the ingestion occurred, giving only a probable time frame of two to six days prior to his death. Lastly, they added that inconsistent blood test results meant there was a slight chance that the myocarditis may have been developing silently prior to the marijuana ingestion."
In other words it was not likely that marijuana killed the kid. They cannot even claim that it related. And your title is a lie.
I would say his death is likely related to dumb ass parent(s)

More deaths than that related to pot if you count intoxicated driving and stoned people jumping out of windows, and your alcohol figure is completely fabricated.
Hint: There's bound to be more deaths related to something that's legal than illegal.

Or, you're presenting the information in a highly misleading way.Wow, so defensive and angry, like something I'd expect from a person who likes pot but can't handle it being criticized.
It's not that the child had a huge amount. It's that the amount was large enough that it wasn't from second-hand smoke. It's possible that the child ate some sort of marijuana edible, but there isn't enough evidence to prove that's what happened. You also didn't deny that this child had a lot of pot in his system.

"Overdose" is a false standard for which you demanded.
You also didn't deny that this child had a lot of pot in his system. What you did was try to deflect to a slight chance of myocarditis and then try to exonerate your very obvious love of cannabis by declaring the story "a lie."
If you'd like to explain why we should believe you over doctors, I'd like to know. I'm sure you have some links and talking points from NORML or a similar group lying around nearby.
