Nixon official: real reason for drug war was to criminalize black people & hippies

Re: Nixon official: real reason for drug war was to criminalize black people & hippie

Free countries that allow people to say whatever they want are tyranny. People should not be allowed to subvert society.
This is bat **** insane posting, a complete standing on ones head of all political understanding. It is pure newspeak, you are living in your own Oceania fantasy.

North Korea is counterculture on steroids, a nation so totally enthralled with "freedom" as to become totalitarian.
You have your Orwellian fiction done pat, I applaud this commitment.

Amazing. I didn't even have to make something up, to put in your quote to describe your posting. You put it there yourself.

That isn't a description of my posting. If you have something to say about my posts, try using your own thoughts and stop plagiarizing while attempting to change the context.

What does it matter if there is a war on drugs if you never touch drugs?

What matters is that society at large pays a huge price for the prohibition. All of society--not just the drug users, but also those who do not use drugs.

What are some of those prices? Police corruption in many ways. The accidental killing and maiming of innocent citizens, their pets and their children, as specious "no knock" warrants are served at the wrong place.

The corruption of our criminal justice system, including the highest per capita rate of imprisonment in the entire world.

The corruption of the rule of law, as many people hold the law in contempt for its blatant stupidity.

This is why there is a group known as Law Enforcement Against Prohibition, LEAP. They oppose the prohibition because it harms their chosen profession.
