Cannot understand the logics, in that many, reject free medical care! What are the logics behind its?
Many countries , especially in Europe, have free medical care, some, also, free , controlled medicines.
What is wrong with that?
What was wrong with the Obsma care?
Or, is it the insurance companies lobbying ?

Trump/GOP don't want Americans to have affordable healthcare.

Their interest is in making insurance/drug corporations ever richer.

Nowhere has free healthcare. It has to be paid for somehow, the difference is where that money comes from. Some places rely on patients paying on use (directly or via personal insurance), some places rely on state funding of healthcare, paid for via general taxation. Most places actually have some combination of the two.

Whatever system you have in place, there will be advantages and disadvantages, plus any system can be managed well or poorly, both overall and in specific areas.

Most political arguments about healthcare are exactly that - political. Very few are actually about achieving the best health outcomes for the community as a whole.

Horrible wreck of an OP, but the answer is simple: the "logic" of selfishness pervades the right wing in America.

While there are some who see the wisdom of providing basic universal healthcare using tax dollars, thus cutting out the leeches known as insurance companies, the rest of them embrace the philosophy of "I've got mine, so **** everyone else." They could care less if the poors die from preventable conditions. They just do not care about their fellow Americans.

They did fine in life, and they simply do not care about anyone else. Selfishness. They want the states to be united in name only. It's that simple.

But don't you doubt that if they happen to fall on those hard times they blame poor people for suffering through, they'll have their hand out for government benefits in a flash. It's an intellectually bankrupt philosophy - the can put on a big show of thumping their chests and puffing themselves up as defenders of freedoms while knowing that the things they oppose will be there when they need them - or more to the point it's no philosophy at all. Just greed and selfishness; having one's cake and eating it too.
