Noor Salman, widow of Pulse nightclub gunman, found not guilty

Noor Salman, the widow of the gunman who killed 49 people at an Orlando nightclub in 2016, was found not guilty of obstruction and aiding and abetting by attempting to provide material support to a terrorist organization.

Salman had faced up to life in prison if she was convicted. The charges she was acquitted of include lying to the FBI and aiding her husband in the attack. The decision came on the third day of deliberations, after the jury met for a total of 12 hours.

Salman appeared extremely emotional when the verdict was announced. She had tears streaming down her face while she looked at her family and smiled.

From the FBI to the Prosecutor they screwed the case up and charges should not have been laid. The evidence was not there.

Sadly the "fox news" fan base does really not respect the decision by the jury (understatement alert).

"I am disappointed in the outcome of the trial and know that the victims and/or their families are more disappointed. This has been an emotional event for our community and many may feel that justice has not prevailed; however, the system of justice has spoken and we should look to the continued healing for the families and our entire community so that this event will not define us," Demings wrote.

is this verdict a verdict against the victims, against the defendant or is it a verdict towards a possible non corrected participant to a public shooting towards 'public' people?
