House impeachment manager Adam Schiff misconstrued text messages between two key players in a pressure campaign against Ukraine waged by President Trump's administration, according to a new report. In a letter to fellow impeachment manager Rep. Jerry Nadler, Schiff said indicted businessman Lev Parnas “continued to try to arrange a meeting with President Zelensky” and provided text messages between Parnas and Rudy Giuliani, the driving force behind the campaign, as evidence of this effort.
Documents obtained by Politico Tuesday night show Schiff cited one text message in which Parnas told Giuliani he was “trying to get us mr Z.”
A Democratic official told the outlet that "Z" was commonly used as a shorthand by associates of the president to refer to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. However, a Republican aide said the interpretation was, at best, careless. "But an unredacted version of the exchange shows that several days later, Parnas sent Giuliani a word document that appears to show notes from an interview with Mykola Zlochevsky, the founder of Burisma, followed by a text message to Giuliani that states: 'mr Z answers my brother.' That suggests Parnas was referring to Zlochevsky not Zelensky," Politico reported. Burisma is the oil and gas company on which former Vice President Joe Biden's son Hunter sat on despite a lack of experience. Trump has pointed to Hunter Biden's place on the board as an example of "how corrupt" the Bidens are. Last week, Parnas claimed in a series of media interviews that though he did not speak with Trump directly about the pressure campaign, the president knew what he and Giuliani were doing.

"Misled" and "misspoke" are euphemistic weasel-words for Schiff "lied." Democrats especially Schiff, Nadler, Schumer and Pelosi are lying to everyone, including each other, because their arguments are so weak. One the many and largest Schiff lie yesterday involved his claim that DJT only worried about Ukraine corruption during an election year. However, testimony transcripts from Schiff’s own committee clearly show that DJT voiced concerns in ‘17 and 18'. Schiff hid them.
Meanwhile, Schiff has both slandered AND committed perjury in this process- and he skates. Had a Republican even done one-tenth the slander and lies of what Schiff has perpetrated, the Progressive Marxist Socialist/DSA Democrats Leftists would demand and scream and stomp their feet until that republican were removed from the process. Nothing he says can be trusted.
In a normal court of law, a judge would charge the lawyer(s) with perjury by lying to the court..

where are all your threads about the many times Trump has misled the American people? schiff does it once in 24 hours and you are acting like it's a big deal, again, since this is the second time you are trying and failing to get this story out there.

The Mueller investigation, intentionally or otherwise, has three times confirmed there was no collusion on the part of the Trump campaign, while also providing legal determination that Nunes and his report on Russian interference were correct.

So you use Left wing questionable sources in an attempt to justify yourself, while I used NBC, Rolling Stone (one of your own sources) and Jonathan Turley a Democrat entities that normally in opposition to Trump. I would expect that two out of the three I used have more veritas than the three sources you've used..... Seems I understand much more than you when you can't do honest research.

Ok, let's look at this realistically. Politicians, all of hem mislead through exageration or reluctance to tell the whole truth when it benefits them politically. It's not great but it's very common and all politicians do it.
The difference here is the democrats and particularly Schiff and Nadler during the impeachment inquiry and now the trial in the Senate, and Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, are deliberately misleading and "cherry picking" information to get a conviction to remove an elected President. Why? Because they do not like him and have been pursueing this process for the entire length of the Presidents term. This is clearly a politically motivated plot to change the outcome of an election in 2016. This is a dangerous process. Undoing the election process is dangerous. We have a Presidential election coming in 10 months and the people should be the judge of weather President Trump has done something worth removing him as President or if they are happy with the job he has done as President and want to return him to the White House.
The other flaw in the democrats case is they continue to bring up Russian interference in the 2016 election as if Trump was involved. The Mueller investigation clearly stated the President was not involved in collusion with the Russians and that nothing the Russians did changed any voter outcome. It's a dangerous game the democrats are playing and it opens the door for continued activity of this type by both parties in the future when they don't like a President or don't like his/her policies.

The hatred of Trump is so deep it has corrupted normally rational democrats. It was clear in the Mueller Report, and in Muellers appearance before the Congress that no collusion between Trump, his team and Russia existed. NONE!! Yet the democrat leaders of the impeachment proceeding deliberately lie about collusion existing. This should not be shocking as we know that Adam Schiff has claimed for years that he had proof positive, "more than circumstantial" that Trump colluded with Russia. WHERE IS IT MR. SCHIFF?
The Left hates Trump and getting rid of him is worth jeopardizes the foundations of our legal systems belief in innocent until proven guilty. Democrats have made claims of abuse and obstruction for what. Obstruction by using constitutionally allowed preceedures of appealing to the courts in deciding controversies between branches of government, use of Executive Privelege and refusing to answer a subpoena. This was done numerous times by previous Presidents, including OBama, and without any questions of its legality by democrats. The abuse charges are thier opinion because they don't like him and have tried every method they can to remove him. In fact the previous President abused power by the arranging prisoner swaps from Quantanimo Bay for Bowe Bergdahl, a process that required by law the agreement of th Congress which he did not have. The President and his AG refused to honor subpeona's issued by Congress in the Fast and Furious gun running scandal. The courts decided that they did indeed have to submit the documents. Albeit after Obama was out of office by the time of the decision.

When you intentionally mislead or misquote or fail to present the facts you are dubious and untrustworthy. Schiff, deliberately entered into the Congressional Record an intentionally false quote of the telephone call between Trump and he Ukraine President. Watching Nadler, in order to add strength and create dramatic effect he said the founders knew what absolute power was because of George III. But George III was not an absolute monarch. In fact he answered to the Parliament as all Monarchs of England and the UK have done since the Magna Carta and the subsequent shifting of power in England following that document with the rise of the Parliaments power and control of the purse.

In your world do you live by if someone does something wrong, then it is ok for everyone else to do the same wrong thing?

No wonder the ability to have open discussion is failing in this country.
