Couple weeks ago one of those Washington crooks was fined $2 Mill. for siphoning money from a charity to use in his campaign. The money had been raised at an event to aid vets and the evil bastard used some to buy football memorabilia and 10 grand for a portrait of himself.
Wouldn't you guess anyone who does that should be disqualified from high office?

The laws on national office are different, but I'd certainly hope that person spent a few years in jail before running for election.

One of the things that annoys me about people who start threads like this is that really think I am not going to research what they post, that I'll just take it at face value.

In less than 30 seconds one can learn it wasn't just Hillary that was getting money illegally, but Republicans as well.

Know your audience; if you don't want to be found out for not telling the whole story, just the parts that make your side look good and the other bad, then peddle it to a forum where you know that's what people want to see and hear and research.

And yet CNN, NBC and the others all say this is in regards to Nader's contributions to Hillary. There is no mentions of Republicans getting money illegally.

Having said that, I am fully aware that both Dem and Rep politicians have a history of working their system to increase contributions to their "foundations", PACs and their campaign coffers. I wish the DOJ had been more forthcoming in their announcement. I wish they had named names. Perhaps the names will come out during the actual trial...if it ever gets that far.
