GOP Leader Drops BOMB on Schiff – Points to Committee Rule that Must Allow Republicans Day to Call W

Re: GOP Leader Drops BOMB on Schiff – Points to Committee Rule that Must Allow Republicans Day to

Haven't seen it, but I'll look around. I'm not surprised - the whole thing is a joke. I admit I quit watching with the Fiona Hill show. I can only take a few minutes of unbridled arrogance before I defer to my digestive tract health.

I shouldn't have said he was "laughing his ass off" because that might create the wrong mental image.
I should have said "laughing a laugh that was commensurate in self-satisfaction & excitement with his scrawny lying ass".
You know how I hate to type long posts.

I'm not a fan of long posts either, although more and more these days you have to provide foundational stuff - corrections - before a summary point can be made. It's a pain, but in truth there are some here who still cling to the "Trump is a Russian agent" thing. Old, discredited narratives die hard. It's like walking into a cantina and seeing Lee Van Cleef with a belly holster staring at you with a scowl. You know you're gonna have to deal with it.

That's fantastic. Talk about creating a mental image. Hell ... it's a whole scene.

Re: GOP Leader Drops BOMB on Schiff – Points to Committee Rule that Must Allow Republicans Day to

Hill was an analyst and advisor on the NSC. She did not formulate foreign policy, and she did not oversee policy implementation. She resigned July 19th. She has a nice resume, but it doesn't change her role. I believe it's safe to assume she didn't resign out of happiness. She obviously didn't feel so strongly about her foreign policy reservations on July 19th that she publically stated them, and it's doubtful any statement she might have made at that time would have received any attention. A reflective person would consider such things. You have not.

Disgruntled employees are common. The most common complaint is, "If they'd done it my way..."

poor humbolt, Hill was senior director for Europe and Russia on the National Security Council. whining and flailing about her changes no facts. her testimony was devastating because she was simply stating what was already known

Based on questions and statements I have heard, some of you on this committee appear to believe that Russia and its security services did not conduct a campaign against our country—and that perhaps, somehow, for some reason, Ukraine did. This is a fictional narrative that has been perpetrated and propagated by the Russian security services themselves.

Oh, did you think you were magically making proof of trump's quid pro quo disappear. Sorry, the two republican witnesses confirmed that for you. You remember them, it was my first post to you. Yea, I guess if the testimony from the witnesses I called blew up in my face, I want to forget them too. Wait, you're not trying to forget. You're dishonestly pretending to not know. Anyhoo, the dishonest conservative dodge is "employees who are fired are disgruntled so I don't have to believe any facts from them". You might as well just say "wah wah I don't have to believe things I don't like because (put conservative narrative here)".

Right. When did you learn of her? Why, you never heard of her before her testimony, and neither had anybody else, but those in her immediate circle. Don't pretend, Vern. It's unbecoming.

So, with that in mind, let's review your general credibility. You were wrong about the economy. You were wrong about employment. You were wrong about the election and Hillary. You were wrong about collusion, obstruction, and Mueller. That's a lot of wrong, Vern.

I think your political evaluation and prognostication skills could be a bit questionable.

oh look, pointless "questions". I never heard of the two republican witnesses either but what does that have to do with her or their testimony. But your whining about her or me doesn't change the fact that she was senior director for Europe and Russia on the National Security Council and told you:

Like Pelosi said, it always leads back to Russia with trump. Oh and the republican witness I never heard of said this

"[Volker]added: “The allegations against Vice President Biden are self-serving and non-credible."

7 takeaways from Tuesday’s impeachment hearings

I've already addressed Hill's significance. She's as significsnt as Ciaramella. Check with Schiff on that.

The witnesses, by and large, are elements of an administrative state - bureaucrats - who believe they rightfully should dictate foreign policy because only they know how to do it. Nobody voted for these people. Their foreign policy is unknown to the public. Now note, Vern, before you go off, that I didn't say they're worthless. They have value, just not nearly so much as they prefer to believe. Naturally someone as despicable as Schiff would play to their egos. And equally naturally, you suck that up like a tick.

This could be another failure for you, Vern. Trump remains.

I'm truly unconcerned about your "claims" about Hill. She was senior director for Europe and Russia on the National Security Council and told you:

And I didn't need to post Volker telling you trump was lying about "biden corruption" because you already knew that.

Yada, yada, yada. I've already addressed it, Vern. Posting it twenty times won't change my view.

You ever read the Budapest memorandum, Vern? You should, because it's stuff like that which is an expression of foreign policy, and not some NSC employee's opinion. But hey, I wouldn't be surprised that an NSC employee in a similar position advised Hillary that a reset button for Russia was a good idea. Worked out great, didn't it? So you have that going for ya, Vern.

poor humbolt, you've not addressed anything. You've simply and obediently flailed about Hill and her testimony. You also haven't addressed your false "there were no republican witnesses" narrative, the republicans witnesses confirmed trump's abuse of power, the false "biden courrpution" narrative and that even your own sources said the "biden corruption" narrative was false. I know, simply post "sure trump is lying about biden and the Ukraine and literally spewing lying Russian propaganda and abused his power but its okay because...…". You'll have to fill the "because" part because you haven't really been clear about that.

You're repeating yourself, Vern.

Here: There is no crime here.

I hope that's clear enough for you. Now, slither on away.

Yes humbolt, there is no crime here. Republicans are allowed to call witnesses and there is no Biden corruption. So that proves your conservative masters are lying yet you continue to obediently post otherwise.

And humbolt, weren’t you just whining about perceived insults? Yes, yes you were. And now you tell me to slither away. well, lucky for you flaming snowflakery hypocrisy isnt a crime either. the hypocrisy is so obvious even you can figure it out. But what makes it “snowflakery” is that you’re just upset that I’ve proven you are posting lies and spin so all you can post is “wah wah, slither away”

GOP Leader Drops BOMB on Schiff - Points to Committee Rule that Must Allow Republicans Day to Call Witnesses - Dems Forgot to Strike This in their Crooked Plot to Remove Trump
Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy posted a letter signed by the House Intelligence Oversight Committee to Pencil Neck Adam Schiff. In his letter Rep. McCarthy cites House Rule XI, Cause 2(j)(1) The Minority Rule on calling witnesses. This rule allows the Minority to call any witnesses they want on at least one day of a congressional hearing, upon notifying the Committee chairman, which the Republicans did this morning.

You start every one of your posts with obnoxious arrogance, Vern. Don't expect that it won't be thrown back at you in some fashion. People who punch should expect to be punched. So if you want to be treated civilly, try being civil.

Lets parse this post sentence by sentence
Whine about Vern
Accuse vern of complaining about insults
Post analogy to justify insults
Admit he's being uncivil

someday humbolt, you'll respond to what I post. so to be clear, I’m not complaining about your insults. I’m simply pointing out your flaming snowflake hypocrisy. I’ve already told you in this thread that insults, real or imagined, don’t stop me from posting clear straightforward factual posts because I’m not looking for an excuse to cut and run. So please, don’t dishonestly try to pretend you’ve hurt my feelings. and humbolt, your latest post is just another a cowardly deflection. You once again reply to something I didn’t post. again I’m not looking for an excuse to cut and run so I don't have to constantly deflect. And you’ve been deflecting since you posted this nonsense (and I proved it was nonsense)

Who wants to hear from Republican witnesses?

Someday you'll post something worth responding too, Vern. So, given your persistence, and even though I've mentioned it before, the testmony offered in Schiff's hearings is unimpressive, leaving the positions and personalities of the witnesses out of it - but they are an element that I'll skip just because you're enamored with them. The objective was to supply lethal, defensive arms to Ukraine, and encourage Ukraine to corral their corruption. Those objectives have been met, at least in as much as we can meet them. If Biden's part of that corrupt activity there, that's his problem. If not, what's he worried about? I know it's difficult, but try not to conflate corruption with Biden. That's an unknown at present. I hope that clears it up a little for you. I doubt it, but hope springs- sometimes.

Really, the hearings have been unimpressive? I would assume you were just severely uniformed but then I remember you posted this lying conservative narrative so I really cant believe anything you say

Who wants to hear from Republican witnesses?

and as far as "worth responding to", not only did I show you the two republican witnesses but I pointed out their testimony was so bad for trump that Nunes referred to them as “democrat” witnesses. that’s interesting all by itself even if it didn’t prove you were posting a lying conservative narrative. And Hill’s testimony had to be extremely impressive. Why else would you bring it up when we weren’t discussing her. She was clearly in your head. And remember, you tried to pretend you didn’t mention her. Thanks for the chuckles humbolt.

And look, now you are back to pretending to not know the “biden corruption” is just another lying conservative narrative. Your own “sources” told you it was not true so that means you are clearly lying. and just to be clear humbolt, pointing out your dishonesty is not an insult. I’m simply documenting it.

Happy Thanksgiving, Vern.

Happy Thanksgiving, Vern.

thank you humbolt, that's sweet. Anyhoo, you flailed at Hill's testimony (one of many things you flailed at to deflect from the facts) but the fact is she was dead on ball's accurate when she said republicans are pushing the lying narrative that it was "Ukraine not Russia".

Trump is literally pushing the lying (and Russia approved) narrative that it was "Ukraine not Russia"

Wallace reminded Kennedy that the president and many of his supporters have maintained that it was the government of Ukraine, not Russia, that interfered in U.S. politics by hacking the Democratic National Committee and computers of Hillary Clinton campaign staffers during the 2016 presidential election.

Fox News' Chris Wallace Confronts GOP Senator for Believing Ukraine May Have Interfered in the 2016 U.S. Election

so humbolt, are you more impressed with her testimony now?

Vern, I'm not flailing. You are. And it's increasingly apparent that Schiff is dead in the water, as well. Some bulkheads are bowing and a few rivets have popped.

That Ukraine was actively involved in supporting Clinton has already been established. You should read a little on the DNC and Chalupa. And you need to remember, the DNC and the Clinton campaign were one and the same. Ask Bernie. Ask Donna Brazille. So claims to the contrary are refuted by hard evidence - not hearsay and rumor. And none of that discounts Russia's meddling. Both happened, Vern.

And no, Vern. Hill doesn't impress me. Ptolomy was no slouch. That didn't mean Copernicus wasn't right.

Vern. Vern. Wake up. You there, Vern? I gotta tell you... Fiona Hill told me Trump is about to become a democrat again. No ****. She called me at 4:30 this morning on the Brookings Institute hot line. This chages everything.

(I wrestled with waking you up for this for over an hour. But it's Fiona, Vern. FEE-OWN-A. Love that accent. Love it. Reminds me of that guy I bought a matress from. Smart foam. Nanites and stalactites working together to create the best night's sleep ever. Amazing).

I feel bad humbolt, I’m clearly posting too many facts too quickly because you are now calling trump a liar. Of course he is but you’re clearly stating it. You say both “Ukraine and Russia” but trump is saying “Ukraine not Russia”. I literally just posted that to you. I wouldn’t want to be you at your next performance evaluation. But wait! show them where you clearly lied saying “Ukraine actively involved”. That should help mitigate your obvious blunder calling trump a liar. Again he is a liar but you’re not allowed to say that.

And humbolt, I knows its pointless to ask to back up anything you post but can you explain it at least? If Ukraine hacked the DNC server and released the emails, how exactly did that “actively” help Hillary? I think you’re going to earn your pay with that “explanation”.

You being right about anything would be a first, Vern. I've already posted your track record. I imagine batting zero is a perfect score in your world. I'm surprised you aren't typing on your microwave.

Re: GOP Leader Drops BOMB on Schiff – Points to Committee Rule that Must Allow Republicans Day to

Damn straight. Who wants to hear from Republican witnesses? The case for collusion, er, obstruction, ah, quid pro quo, no, bribery, wait, extortion is clear. It's a slam dunk.

I agree, I think president trump, mulvaney, pompeo and barr all be sworn in and be allowed to testify. After all these are the people around trump who can clear him of any and all wrongdoing. Oops, forgot rudy. I say let's hear from them all.
