Democrats Concede Their Impeachment Argument Is Failing

CNN reports that in a private meeting this week, top Democrats conceded that the polls on impeachment were unlikely to shift, and that their basic message is failing to break through for huge swaths of Americans. This is very close to admitting that their ultimate goal, of removing president Trump from office will not be achieved. The upshot is that Democrats know this isn’t going well, or at least as well as they had hoped. And yet, they appear to feel that if they have gone this far they have to see it through. They will have a day or two to celebrate with the base the symbolic victory of impeaching Trump, the top policy position of the party for three years now. Then they can pivot to calling every GOP senator who doesn’t vote to convict, a corrupt hack.
Meanwhile the show goes on, at least for a little while longer. And while it might not be must watch TV, the result of this effort will help to define the 2020 race for president. Right now, the White House has every reason to be just fine with that.

The complete detachment from reality by half the members of the House all Progressive Marxist Socialist/DSA Democrats- not having a clue what people even in their own districts think about this - is why the founders and framers set up a system of government that was based primarily on States governing themselves and a small federal government.
The issue is not that people cannot grasp concepts evil power hungry and vindictive PMS/DSA Democrats are pushing...the issue is we understand these corrupt ideologists all to well and we reject their lies.
As infuriating as this impeachment show trial scam is, it serves a very useful and necessary purpose. It is showing the WORLD how power hungry, hateful, corrupt and untrustworthy the PMS/DSA Democrats have become. Pelosi lost control, and now they don't know how to claw their way out of this. They earned their misery!
Even when this impeachment hoax is overturned and PMS/DSA Democrats defeated, Trump re-elected in 2020, the task will not be complete until every single elected Democrat is removed from office in America. They've presently destroyed their party.
They are irredeemably ideologically corrupt, compromised, and hopelessly debauched. Either the Democrats are utterly destroyed, or their efforts to destroy America will continue.
This Star Chamber faux impeachment led by Adam Schitf is their Pickett’s Charge, except the Confederacy had far more honor and virtue than any living Democrat today.

How do you feel about Republicans accepting that their leader attempted to extort another nation in order to corrupt our democratic process?

Its worth remembering that they once re-elected a president who lied us into a phony war. That didn't end well.

Perhaps Lindsey Graham will be right and he will eventually destroy the whole party. Here's to hoping they don't take our nation down with them.
 
I'm old enough to remember when the Republican Party was filled with ex-WWII and Korean war vets who had actual integrity.

Now it's just Sean Hannity sound alikes.

The GOP House hacks have no answer to witnesses such as Ambassador Yovanovich, Ambassador Taylor, and Deputy SoS George Kent.

Indeed, we find that former presidents have used their positions to extort countries with US dollars to comply with their wishes.
The most recent midnight deliveries of U.S. cash in the millions to Iraq.
Surely it is well worth remembering that former presidents have led us into wars we didn't wish to enter. That goes for Presidents Wilson, FDR, Truman, LBJ, Reagan, Bush 41, Clinton, Bush 43 and Soetoro.... Please note Congress only voted to enter the following: The War of 1812 (1812-1815), The Mexican War (1846-1848), The Spanish-American War (1898-1899), World War I (1917-1918), World War II (1941-1945)
Democrats appear to be on the self destructive path to destroy themselves. The Progressive Marxist Socialist/DSA left and its pet rock, mainstream media, continue to lurch further to the left. America needs to see the Marxist/Socialist pro-Islamist ideologies exposed which makes President Trump look even more moderate than anyone could ever imagine. The failure of the PMS/DSA Democrats is to understand that the further left they move, the more sane Trump looks.

Surely, PMS/DSA Democrats have deep political mental issues and would never accede to the fact. Just ask any incarcerated mental patient they think they're fine and everyone else has mental issues.

President Trump's 2020 campaign manager Brad Parscale recently tweeted that "Over 90,000 kids were detained under Obama. And no one cared."
"After apprehending an individual and determining that he or she is a UAC, CBP or ICE transfers him or her to a facility run by the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), which is part of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
In fiscal year 2014, nearly 57,500 children traveling without their parents or guardians (referred to as unaccompanied children) were apprehended by federal immigration officers and transferred to the care of the Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR). Most of these children were from Central America.
In other words - all of the unaccompanied minors detained under the Obama administration were locked up in the exact same facilities the Trump administration is using.

The boys were among more than 125,000 unaccompanied minors who have surged into the United States since 2011, fleeing violence and unrest in Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador.
