The Democrats in 2016 graciously gave Americans the opportunity to do as we were told and vote for Hillary Clinton. And just as we so many times disappointed Barack Obama, we failed them as well, proving our illegitimacy as a citizenry. Electing Trump was the last straw for them – plastic, of course, paper is for us rabble. They used to want only our money, but since we elected Trump, they’ve decided to come for everything else we enjoy as free citizens of the Republic. Trump is all that stands between the America we cherish and the left’s policies for “fundamentally transforming the United States of America.” They know that for us, 2020 is a “Flight 93” election and impeaching Trump on what is the thinnest of gruel, and arguably the finest example of projection today, is a last-ditch effort to either depose him or damage him enough politically to make him unelectable come next November.
Impeaching Trump is their way of telling us to get in line, or else. If you think of Trump, not as Trump, but as one of us, it becomes clear. Destroying him is a way of telling us, “You’re next.”

As long as the Progressive Marxist Socialist/DSA Communists control the DNC, education and the media, Trump is just slowing them down, a bump in the road to perdition.
I learned that theory ~30 years ago - a conservative Congress, or President, et al, are an interruption or temporary slow down in the movement toward serfdom / destruction of freedom.
If one takes the long view from “our side”, the more Trump is able to disrupt the left, and make positive changes that the people will see/live and benefit, if/when the PM/DSA Communist Left regains control of the government, people will turn them out when the undoing of Trump’s approach yields nothing but failure, misery, slavery and death to the masses.
It's a fact that the PMS/DSA Communist Left have the opinion Americans, especially trump voters are dumb and lesser humanity. What’s more, they think a lot of us Christian, believers ..who they KNOW are below them.. “we need a crutch to believe in a God they know does not exist”. We are not only dumb, we are weak and don't understand as they do.
The NWO/Globalists are gearing up for the final coup d'état against president Trump and 'We the People'. Is there enough protection in place for our president? Is the Secret Service a 100% trustworthy organization are does it still have Obama holdovers? We are entering very dark times here.
Will there be a second Civil War in America? That depends on how much the American citizenry cherish their Freedoms and Liberty. Thomas Jefferson was correct regarding the "Tree of Liberty".

The Democrats will be coming with a vengeance against anyone who had the temerity to oppose them.

The point of this is that if Trump gets impeached, that means people are out to get you and people within your subculture? If I am getting this right, why do you think so?

So according to this line of thinking, a popularly elected president should never be impeached (and of course Trump was never popularly elected. He was shoved down the American people’s throat by a quirk of the electoral college system).
 
Civil war? If there is one let's guess which side would start it.

That is not the point of the Op-Ed.... It is not pointed at me alone, it's all about our nation and what is in store for all of us. Not jus you and me. If you miss that point, you've got a deficit in reading comprehension. Have you been living in a bubble or are you happy and satisfied that your basic freedoms and liberties are at stake? The proposed impeachment is just one of the issues. Trump was elected fair and square and the Progressive Marxist Socialists/ DSA Democrat Leftists of this country continue to tell us he is illegitimate, because Hillary was not elected.
By falsely claiming first that Trump colluded with the Russians, and now claiming that he has violated his office in a Quid Pro Quo with the Ukraine is ludicrous and has been proven wrong.
Are you denying that for the most part the media is biased not only to Trump but also touting the PMS/DSA Leftist ideology 24/7?

This idea of a new civil war has real appeal to reactionary right wingers.

It’s an old, old meme. One that dates back at least to the 1930’s.


Of course, it’s political marketing to no nothings. The folks who really suck this nonsense up are armchair patriots.

There isn’t going to be a giant right wing uprising.

And since no one else is talking about it other than the reactionary right, there’s not going to be a civil war.

The future of the "United" States either ends in a mutually agreeable separation or a violent divorce. How can reconciliation be possible when we have diametrically different visions for the future of the country? Freedom of the individual is not what the left values nor ever has. In leftist ideology, individual freedom is sacrificed on the altar of the state for the "greater good." In classic--not contemporary--liberalism, state power MUST be strictly limited as individual rights are guaranteed and recognized once consent to govern is given. Truly Tory vs. Patriot times all-over again. Gun control and taxes were what started the American War for Independence. The two biggest issues the left is running are gun control and raising taxes.
True Americans believe in the right to self-defense, the right to keep and bear arms, and the right to keep their own property rather than having it forcibly taken and given to those who did not earn it.
Why is it that the left's entire platform is based on decreasing citizens' rights by attempting to pass laws that violate the Constitution and restrict individual freedom while at the same time increasing non-citizens privileges and entitlements by ignoring established law that specifically does not allow it ?
When those in government attempt to disarm citizens, it is because that government has evil plans in store. We will all, eventually, have to decide if we would rather stand for liberty and potentially die on our feet, or live on our knees as slaves of the state.

As Pelosi pointed out, the Democrats didn't have any choice. You can't just stand by and let a national leader use the power and resources of government to fix elections on his behalf. You really can't.

Sadly this is true. Can anyone imagine how they will react when Trump wins the 2020 presidential election and is re-elected? There will be blood running freely in the streets of Blue controlled cities and perhaps throughout all of the U.S.

1. I do not think that President Trump will be reelected, for even if he is not convicted in the Senate, there is almost no chance that he can win enough Electoral College votes this time.

a. The Dems have done an outstanding job in demonizing him and his supporters. Furthermore, this time the Dems will turn out en masse on election day. (In 2016, some Dems stayed home because the idea of Donald J. Trump winning was considered too ridiculous to take seriously.) This time, with a little help from non-citizens and ex-felons who have regained their voting rights, President Trump will fail to win the electoral votes in certain battleground states.

b. Hopefully, President Warren will discourage Dems from visiting physical reprisals on the supporters of former President Trump. Above all, I hope that she will have the courage to protect former President Trump from legal jeopardy. She will, I hope, want to concentrate on ways to bring this country together again. The country needs to move on.

In my opinion, the future of this country is very grim.

Indeed Democrats have used every trick they can possibly think of to thwart the reelection of Donald Trump. The things they cannot stop at this point is the soaring economy, low unemployment and rises in salaries of those employed. To boot, the successful foreign policy decisions e's made even though Democrats in Congress have tried to stop them.
Who do the Democrats have that can successfully beat Trump? Warren? Sanders? I don't believe they are acceptable to the citizens in the fly over states. Remember they elected elected him through the electoral college not Hillary.
Americans are not stupid and have seen how the Democrats have reacted to the 2016 election.
