People shouldn't forget that Barr was a pig in slop during his first turn as Attorney General. Check his activities during the Iran/Contra pardons.

Attorney General William Barr is truthful, exceptionally skilled and has proven he will preserve, protect and defend the Constitution, Bill Of Rights and laws of the United States of American to the best of his ability pursuant to his oath of office.

So basically another "hate AG Barr" thread?

No, he isn't. I'm very disappointed in him, I had hoped he had the same reputation and moral fortitude as Bob Mueller; he doesn't. He is a liar, a deceitful twister of the truth, and a partisan hack for a president who has no equal in obvious corruption, and obstruction of justice. I gave Barr the benefit of doubt; he did not deserve it.

What do you claim William Barr has done corruptly?

1. Refused to violate US laws concerning Grade Jury proceedings and national security secrets?
2. On Mueller's request, made a determination on whether there is sufficient evidence in the Mueller Report to prosecute President Trump and determined there was not?
3. Refused to be questioned by Congressional staff members, who have no authority whatsoever to require the United States Attorney General to answer their questions - or any other constitutional or statutory authority to do anything?

Or is it just calling Barr a liar?

You may believe that, but please explain his actions involving pardons related to Iran/Contra?

Barr can request grand jury information be made public, he won't. Why?
Mueller made no such request, if he did you should be able to quote it from the report. You can't.
The Constitution give Congress oversight responsibilities. The Executive must respond to lawful subpoenas (check the 3rd article of impeachment prepared for President Nixon). Barr is on very thin ice with his legal argument.

Perhaps you should try again...

No, a question about why everyone says he is so upstanding. Can you defend it?

I have no problem with Barr. He's done rather well and I don't have any real issue with how he's been doing things. My issue comes from people who were so happy that he'd somehow put Trump in his place and then unanimously turn on him and do their best to smear him when they don't get what they want.

What am I supposed to say?

Life is tough, get a helmet. Because everything ins't going to go just as you want it to.
