Pelosi Struggles to Explain Why House Democrats Have Gotten So Little Done in First 100 Days

Until someone proposes a bill that actually has a chance of becoming law, there is little need to spend the time to analyze just what is being proposed and how well it might work if it should pass.

Medical care systems are complex. Who knew?

I agree. There is absolutely no sense in discussing M4A without the requisite specifics having been defined.

In the end, Progressive Marxist Socialist/DSA have done nothing except oppose every word uttered by President Trump. Then there's those like Nadler, Cummings, Schiff and Swalwell who after the release of the Mueller Report still cling to Russia, Russia, Collusion and still seek to topple this administration by any means necessary.
AG Barr is correct to claim that Trump and his administration were spied upon for political reasons by the former administration. For this seditious Act people that perpetrated these acts must pay for their actions.

just like the Republicans openly stated that their #1 goal was to make Obama a one term president.

It's no mystery why the Democratic controlled House isn't accomplishing more. The Senate is still controlled by the Republicans, and the White House is owned by Trump. Now, let's go back to when the Republicans were in charge of all three: Why did we not repeal and replace the ACA with something better that would cover everyone? Why was the touted border wall not built then? Why didn't they accomplish more of their agenda?

The problem with presenting (much less passing) legislation like "free" college, reparations or Medicare for all is that it then gets a CBO "price tag" and thus requires a funding mechanism.

Anything like that has to address costs and have a funding mechanism, or it's just fantasizing about something they'd like to have happen. It's easy to say, "We should have this or that," but actually defining how it is to come about is another matter.

I can say I'd like to have a new car, but then, there's the small issue of paying for that new car. Until that detail is addressed, it's just talk.

Yep, I just got a new 7' x 16' enclosed cargo trailer (about $6,200 including the cost of fixing up the interior for my purposes) but had to save up for months in order to do so. It is so much more convenient now that I can have all of my tools (and any required materials) available on the job site(s) without making multiple runs with a 5' x 8' open utility trailer and hoping for great weather.

You forgot der trumpengroper and mitch mcconnel were holding government funding hostage when congress was trying to fund the government.

I'll bet you didn't get that new trailer by just talking and wishing. It took some planning, and a funding mechanism. That's what it will take to replace the ACA with something better as well.

And don't forget the higher tax return due to the tax cuts that Trump created helping ttwtt78640 by that cargo trailer sooner rather than later....

Sure, those tax cuts did help lots of people, just like the cuts that Bush supported, that Obama continued, and the cuts that were a part of the stimulus package. Tax cuts are great, except....

.....there's that little matter of the 22 trillion debt.

I guess you're referring to the $10 Trillion dollar deficit/debit Bath House Barry created for us, not to mention QE-1, QE-2 and the 12 trillions the fed printed nearly making the dollar bill worthless.

Right, "Bath House Barry is the only one who has increased the national debt. Trump is making America great again, and paying off the debt. Bush and his war had no effect at all.

In your parallel universe, that is. Here, in what we refer to as the "real world," Trump's policies have resulted in more dramatic increases in the debt.

Indeed, Trump has increased the debit by $2 Trillion in the two years he's been in office. It's a far cry from the $10 Trillion on the debit clock and the $12 Trillion printed by the Fed Treasury during QE-1 and QE-2. Something you refuse to admit in the real world. As it stands, the Debit clock is at $22 Trillion. You have to admit that it has slightly slowed. Trump has not ordered Quantitive Easing because he increased the Economy, reduced unemployment to historic low levels and increased the GDP. Things Barry failed to do in his "Fundamental Transformation of America". Yes it's certainly a parallel universe.

Trump gets the credit for having increased the economy, starting back in 2008. Gee, what a guy! No wonder his followers adore him so much and excuse everything he says or does.
