The Washington Post couldn't say a nice thing about congressional Republican efforts to investigate the Obama administration and FBI shenanigans that occurred before and after the 2016 election. That's if they even covered these efforts at all.... So there's a few people on the Democrats' list who should be investigated, but not for the reasons Democrats say. Some should also be charged with crimes.... Partisan Democrats in the Obama administration were all too willing to believe the allegations, and use them as an excuse for bad behavior whether they believed them or not.

Whose campaign chairman served on the board of a clean-energy company that received a $35 million investment from Russia while she served as secretary of State;
Whose prominent fundraiser subsequently came under investigation for possible illegal lobbying activities involving Manafort and Russia-backed Ukraine politicians; and
Whose family’s charitable empire accepted support from a lobbying and public relations firm working for a Russian nuclear giant needing State Department approval for a U.S. transaction. Her name was Hillary Clinton."
Unfortunately, No one is going be prosecuted for any internal criminality committed during the First Black President Administration. The cultural/historical element of that administration provides the ultimate "get out of jail free card" for every single one of them. This, of course, is but one more assault committed against the US Constitution. We are well into the United States' post- Constitution period. It can also be reasonably argued we in a pre-Revolutionary period.

I may not agree with all of that but I certainly think Hillary did some things that merit prosecution. But she won't be held accountable, even by the Trump DOJ. No administration is going to hold a previous administration accountable for their misdeeds because they don't want to be held accountable for their own misdeeds once they are out of office. It is kind of a corrupt "pay it forward" system they have.

As Trump said in response to the "lock her up" chants after he won, "Nah, nah, that played well during the campaign but now that I won, who cares?" Or something very close to that.

Mueller will not find where Trump colluded with Russia because this investigation was brought about by false allegations coming from the Clinton Campaign, never-Trumpers and the Democrats at large and the FBI.
Sadly, this investigation will be seen as the greatest political hoax in history.

The Steele Dossier: A Retrospective

The dossier compiled by former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele remains a subject of fascination—or, depending on your perspective, scorn. (. . .) The dossier is actually a series of reports—16 in all—that total 35 pages. Written in 2016, the dossier is a collection of raw intelligence. Steele neither evaluated nor synthesized the intelligence. He neither made nor rendered bottom-line judgments. The dossier is, quite simply and by design, raw reporting, not a finished intelligence product.

The Mueller investigation has clearly produced public records that confirm pieces of the dossier. Ohr explained to Congress in his testimony that he made clear to the FBI that the information from Steele could not be taken at face value because it was hearsay.

“That information would never see the inside of a courtroom, because you can’t cross-examine it. You can’t find out who, if anyone, really is the source of that. Do you agree?” Gowdy asked him.

Ohr said that, yes, he did agree, but that he and the FBI agents with whom he shared his notes understood well that the information he received from Steele was “not evidence in a courtroom.”

“This is source information. And most FBI investigations involve source information, at least in the early stages,” Ohr testified.
