Andrew C. McCarthy: Why Trump is likely to be indicted by Manhattan US Attorney

In Mueller and the SDNYs sentencing statement, which you obviously did not read

Try reading what the dictionary says

I said "Cohen pled guilty even though the particulars had never been adjudicated as a crime."
"Adjudication is the legal process by which an arbiter or judge reviews evidence and argumentation, including legal reasoning set forth by opposing parties or litigants to come to a decision which determines rights and obligations between the parties involved."

So you're mistaken. What did you think it meant?

Sooooo what was the corroboration?

And a judge HAS reviewed the evidence and argumentation.

And a judge HAS reviewed the evidence and argumentation.

No he didn't. He accepted the plea. There were no defense arguments offered.
Now I see why you're confused.

Yeah, he just accepted it without any review:roll:

You really dont know anything about how courts work, do you?

I asked you a couple of times but you couldn't tell us what was offered as corroboration of Trump's guilt for the campaign finance charge.
Here's your chance for redemption of sorts.
Tell us how the Cohen plea hearing before the Judge went and we're especially interested to hear what his defense lawyer offered the Judge as evidence of Cohen's innocence at the plea hearing.
This oughta be good. Go.

Try reading the sentencing statement.

You're dodging again.

The defendant had already entered his plea and his defense lawyer entered a sentencing statement arguing for no jail time. They did not offer ANY evidence of inncence because Cohen was pleading guilty

You would know this if you had just read the info available. And if you realized that defendants dont argue innocence while pleading guilty

Yeah. They don't argue innocence while pleading guilty. That's why I said they don't. Doesn't explain why you said the "judge HAS reviewed the evidence and argumentation".
That was wrong.
I think you finally did a bit of reading about the plea hearing and realized how wrong you've been and now you're trying to moonwalk away.
Better late than never. Fine by me.

At this point if the Manhattan US Attorney doesn't try to indict Trump, Mueller might.

“You can’t steal the presidency and hold up the presidency as a shield against being held accountable for stealing the presidency.”
