Kavanaugh: What Have We Learned?

She may have, at some point in her life, been sexually assaulted. However, in the testimony of the alleged Kavanaugh attack, there were gaping holes in details that should have existed. If one has been attacked in such a manner as she claims, the date and place are pretty much branded into one's brain. Bizarre details, such as smells, colors, sounds are recalled in clarity. To not remember any of those types of details either means that she had more than one beer, and her memory so impaired which means her clarity of what actually took place would be just as fogged, calling into question her 'reality' of the event, or she mentally 'colored' the event to be more than it was.

Either way, there wasn't sufficient evidence to support her accusation, decades later.

I'm not sure what you mean by saying 'this is what you are doing to women'.... it's obvious that it isn't easy for those who have been attacked to come forward, but the timing, and lack of evidence and witnesses makes this a politically motivated situation, which is abhorrent in my opinion. I don't like Kavanaugh, for his decisions previous, and likely future decisions.... but this has been rock bottom garbage from the Democrats.

Kavanaugh on the SCOTUS is going to do to women in an iconic way what she is describing.

It's what you do when you talk to the officer after a fight.

It could also be that her memories were planted there by aliens (go with that one Blasey).

What we have are a bunch of people willing to stand up for Brett, and a bunch of people contacting the FBI claiming that Brett has a dark side and lied about the extent of his partying and drinking. I believe that this deserves a fair and thorough investigation which unfortunately wasn't done by either democrats or republicans because of their political agendas.

The bunch of people standing up for the now confirmed JUSTICE Kavanaugh have great reputations themselves. They also have actual solid connections to Kavanaugh and reasonable evidence showing that they are not looney tunes.

The Stormy Daniels types who are slithering out from under their rocks to oppose him present wild, unfounded claims with no evidence and no logic.

There really needs to be a leash put on the Shrieking Democrats who are trying to destroy any individual with divergent views. Why do Shrieking Democrats hate the market place of ideas? (That's a trick question.)

In the legion of those they attack are Kavanaugh. Astonishingly, add to that legion Kanye West. These morality-free, shrieking, Democrat mob, attacking dogs are reprehensible. Only a true believer Shrieking Democrat could accept their lies as truth.

Including attacking dogs in the same group with Shrieking Democrats seems to demand that apologies be offered to one of the named groups for the demeaning inclusion.

He should have taken the fifth.

Or got to the heart of the matter.

He did well as he did.

HE DIDN'T DO WHAT WAS ALLEGED. Those doing the alleging were sincere and passionate, but offered only their sincerity and passion as evidence.

When you have the law, pound the law. When you have the facts, pound the facts. When you have neither the law nor the facts, pound the table.

The Shrieking Democrats are pounding the table a lot lately.

I believe that everyone no matter how great they look has a dark side. I believe that about both Obama and Clinton. I myself have a dark side. The way we present ourselves to people always conceal a checkered past. I myself got stellar grades but sometimes got myself into trouble. People are complex and you can't assume that getting a good grade or looking perfect and stellar on the outside means he didn't make any mistakes. We know for a fact that he wasn't a nerd. From his own social calendar he had a lot of friends, went to a lot of parties, and did a lot of drinking. He was a great student who put effort into having a good image, but he also liked to be wild. So I think a thorough investigation is definitely warranted.

So far, there have been, I think, SEVEN official and thorough investigations. It's pretty likely that the UNofficial investigations have been numerous.

They all reveal that the allegations are almost certainly politically motivated and contrived fantasies.

Those making the allegations have slithered back under their rocks and we will probably never hear from them again on this topic; until they are assigned a new target to destroy by their Party Masters.

We don't know he didn't do it, we assume he's innocent.

My point of view is to see the accuser as a legitimate complaint to his nomination regardless of what the fact may be.

As it was he was confirmed by a partizan vote making her testimony and his response irrelevant.

Have you ever been publicly accused of molestation, attempted rape, or rape and been innocent of the fact?

So as you claim you've got a dark side. Does that mean that what you did during High School years should follow you the rest of your professional life? Should the fact that you ate dried glue during the third grade follow you throughout life? If someone you hardly knew in High School accused you of an incident just before you were to be promoted to a higher position with higher pay without proof or witnesses? How would you handle the situation? How would you react if it supposedly happened 5 years ago and you were requested to be interviewed by police authorities?

You're right about the pointless-ness of the hearings.

I mean, WOW! Here's a guy who is a model citizen, active and supportive as a community member while working in a demanding and time consuming career of public service.

After hours, he devotes time to being a great father and husband and coach of his children and the children of others.

The Democrats, for no other reason than political advantage, undertook the destruction of this good and decent man with the most vile and onerous tactics.

Spartacus and all the rest, especially the rat Feinstein, need to be censured and more appropriately, indicted for slander and libel. I don't know how any person of principle or integrity could vote for any of the Democrat Committee members involved in this attempted lynching.

This was a disgusting and reprehensible act perpetrated by disgusting and reprehensible fiends of the lowest and least ethical character I've EVER had the misfortune to witness.

I am embarrassed for our country, our society and our culture. All three may have taken mortal blows from the Democrat Party during this travesty.
