His talk at the University of Illinois on Friday contained all of the divisive rhetoric that he and the mainstream press accuse President Trump of engaging in.... It is surreal for Mr. Obama to attack Mr. Trump for wanting to “use the criminal justice system as a cudgel to punish our political opponents” when Mr. Obama’s IRS systematically damaged his political opponents, and his FBI and Department of Justice spied on Mr. Trump’s political campaign. For years now the press has made false claims about Mr. Trump in the most vicious terms. But have Mr. Obama make the absurdly false claim that Mr. Trump is a Nazi sympathizer and you will wait in vain for any castigation by the press.

The issue isn’t just Obama breaking with the tradition of former presidents and his demagoguery, he is becoming so political criticizing his predecessor. The problem is his lies and the lies of the media.
Then again, IMO, Obama made a judgmental error reappearing and stumping against Trump on the sixth anniversary of the Benghazi terrorist attack that he and his henchmen lied about until he was safely re-elected.
Americans are not fools and recognize Obama's lies and his actions while president from Obama-Care, Fast & Furious, IRS, Iran deal to his criminal interference in the 2016 presidential election to spying on Trump and his attempts to frame him.

Obama first win, overwhelming popularity due to his charisma and speaking ability...AND his internet use.

Second term, more challenging, but excelled at delivering the identified vote....still a leader in internet use.

Trump, out masters Obama on social media but only to confirmed followers. Obama, smooth, practiced, above the social media play, could make make it a landslide if managed properly; identify what the voter finds most disgusting and hammer at it, and change the rules, break them, show the people two can play that game; it would work. But, you are actually arguing over at most 20% of the voting public.

The key would be trade unions, who owe Obama a lot and who form some of the core of Trumpism.

In the late eighties BC elected a new leader of the Social Credit Party and thus premier. He is a nice man, who I like and whose family I had come to know. I got hosed by a field producer and had the live late news interview take place from the host chair back in Vancouver. I was so irate - I was one of maybe two who could get to Vander Zalm and everyone knew it.

Angry I was called on to do a live close stand up, 70 seconds max. I went, I was told 230 seconds where I outlined everything Vander Zalm would do, the trouble it would cause andf openly speculated he would not finish a term (he didn't) I called his hotel room right off and he was laughing, the kind of guy who just won't be insulted.

To the point, I dropped into my local (pub) for a pint for the road the next night and asked I guy I knew if he had seen it, my stand up. He had but had no opinion, his partner interjected that my tie was crooked.

That's always been the news business. And while they claim they believe nothing, they will rely on those same news outlets for the weather, storm warnings, lotto numbers and what's showing where etc.

But when your tribal chief is in trouble they won't consider that that might have been wrong, no it's always the fault of that faceless, nameless blob of humanity scattered across the globe who must have a way to stage completely secret meetings and determine the future of the world. At the same time we despise the like of China or Cuba with extremely scant information which we received through the very same media that is conspiring against every US president since Washington, and, Ben Baby Franklin, a newspaper publisher was in on it.
